CONCLUSION: I personally like the RØDE mics a little better. I feel like the sound from them has a more rich and full sound. There's a warmth to them that the Sennheisers didn't have. That's not to say the Sennheiser mics are bad by any means. A little tweaking in post would make them sound great.
Which was your favorite mic? Do you use something else like a Deity D4 Duo? Let me know in the comments below.

Yes, the rode is coloured so if you dont want to produce your sound or have a higher register voice then maybe better but I love flat, crisp sound in general and totally love the clarity of the sennheiser. Thanks for the vid to be able to compare them

This advice would help so many vloggers on UA-cam. People often underestimate the power of quality sound!

100% Audio is wildly undervalued. It can really make or break a video. Thanks for checking it out!

Both RØDE Mics sound great. Full rounded Highs, Mids & Lows. The Sens both lost a lot of bottom and sounded very nasally. Nice touch with the
    Yidaki performance bro!

Exactly what I though too. I was actually just typing up that same exact point when you sent this. We're totally on the same page. Get out of my head! 🙌😂

as they all are microphones would be nice if you thought about wider use and commented on the noise levels also. but you didn't even say which ones are stereo....

if you cant tell that the Video mic pro sounds a hell of a lot muddier than the MKE 400 than i dont know what speakers or headphones you are using. THe MKE is so crystal clear and flat whereas the pro is coloured and muddy. If you have a higher register voice then the pro could be better for you but for lower register the mke400. if you know how to produce your audio post production then in everycase the MKE400 is a better mic. Im a pro musician and have been singing and beatboxing into sennheiser mics and listening on sennheiser studio level headphones. they make top quality gear everywhere. German engineering man ;)

@@liceafilms So I take it you agree that the MKE400 is a banging little mic? Im about to purchase soon so any last tips greatly received.

@@globalmolecule I’m no audio tech but I’ve seen a lot of reviews from different people and places. For vlogs, I do think the mke400 sounds better and does a better job to isolate your voice that the Rode. You can also edit in post if you want a more “bassy” sound like the Rode. I used to own the Videomic NTG (most consider it better than Videomic Pro) but always had interference/static issues. I get the mke400 today, will be testing it and hopefully the results are better than before.
