Have watched this video several times, and each time I say to myself, what a great organization you are. I am glad that so many horses are taken care off by you wonderful people. Thank you
So wonderful to see him get such great care and recover so well! I can remember back when such severe hoof problems were, essentially, a death sentence for a horse. Such dramatic advances in treating these terrible problems warms my heart. Well done, you guys! Seeing him move so well, without pain or disturbance in his gait is marvelous. You people are angels on earth. Well done!
So interesting, thank you! My horse just got diagnosed with this and will be having surgery soon. Nice to have a diagnosis but not so fun thinking about this part, but better having an idea of what to expect too.
well done, nicely narrated too. I wonder what the vet bill was for that procedure. So many horses suffer due to horse owners not being able to afford proper treatment.
My horse got a keratoma removed, but the vet, drilled a hole up in the sole of the hoof all the way to the hoof bone, and removed the keratome by scraping it away. It had proliferated approximately 1cm up in the hoof bone.
I think it would have been nice if he had been put on a clean blanket while laying down so no dirt could get on him. Of course I’m no expert and just so thankful for your expertise. God bless you and your organization.
He could be the twin of my horse Loco, an half quarter horse :D especially for the white on the head...but I think that Tom is cute and calm, not crazy as mine XDXD At least....it was a really interesting video and I'm happy for him
A couple of other horses near the one operated on may have been less stressful when it woke up from the anesthetic, especially if it's his friend or companion.

Still believe in that if a horse has a bad leg to put them down.
Too bad you couldn't give something to reverse the medication.
