Wake up.... that plane would have "crashed" exactly where the missile was launched from whilst AF1 was airborne nearby a couple months ago. Where's all the news crews crawling all over the island? Its closed off isn't it..... And don't try to explain why the fighter jet was "offering a suicidal person to land anywhere"..... thereby risking hundreds of people on the ground. Protocol should have been to shoot it down whilst over water.
He also said, after he completed his barrel roll, that he was hoping that would be "it" meaning that he expected to die during the attempt. There's no doubt in my mind that this was a suicide run.
They should have talked about helping him see his loved ones, he didn’t want to go to jail, that’s not avoidable at this point but could have said they could testify that he didn’t want to hurt anyone. They only talked about what they wanted. I believe they should’ve talked about pleading insanity and how he would get help with any loose screws.
He was like a kid in a candy shop, each and everytime he boarded a plane, too bad he didn't know how to bring it back, I am pretty sure he would had, if he could!
The barrel roll was sloppy, mostly dive, and he turned 90 degrees off heading because there was no rudder compensation as he inverted, but he wasn't a pilot and the plane isn't designed for aerobatics. He nailed it in terms of he only almost nearly went into the water by about 20 meters.
How much? Don't even have a flight sim on my machine. But sometimes, if you pay attention, sometimes you learn the difference between a split S and a barrel roll.
My bills for my family cost 3x what this guy made in a month. I mean, I'm not saying what he did was the answer...But I understand his plight.. RIP BEBO...You've stolen my heart.
as someone with depression myself depression is not about money, i make less then him and have a much more boring job and i can live decently well, i thought depression was a joke before i got it through my fucked up childhood no amount of money would have helped me on low points were i myself was close to suicide, RIP to russell at least he got out in style
he had a decent job with good benefits as does his wife from the news, if you think you can cure one of the most serious mental illnesses by throwing 2 bucks an hour more to the mental illness is that's crazy, he needed therapy and maybe medication
Yeah I'm reminded all the time when l buy an airplane ticket why prices when up so much, the airline is forced to raise prices to recoup losing a multimillion dollar plane this criminal stole and crashed.
@@chrisscot6602 Insurance is not free, the airlines pay premiums for the insurance, when insurance companies have losses as in this case, guess what they raise their premiums to recoup their loss and airlines raise their tickets to afford the insurance.
The first time I heard the audio I started to laugh but I was in tears and inspired by the end. This sad world would have jailed him forever if he landed the plan. he flew that plane no other has. I wish it was a different world so he could have landed ,paid a fine and got a job. He fulfilled his dream. RIP Captain Rich
Touché, well said 🌟 I didn’t pay attention to this story until a week ago, just couple weeks after the 3rd anniversary after this incident. RIP SkyKing❤️🔥
@Nātānsaurus What could air traffic control done better? And if oxygen was to blame, shouldn't the FCC update their regulations? He was not a little kid. He needed help so something like this wouldn't happen.
Something like that is highly likely...I could tell something else was going on in the background with ATC etc while they were trying to also keep up with Rich and what he was doing next. VERY sad on all accounts.
Joe Vignolo you know people talk about the politics of Economics today especially in this country people get really offended and the truth of the fact of the matter is a lot of high paying jobs are unavailable the only thing has been rising as the rise of minimum wage jobs which are mostly part-time full-time positions are very hard to come by these days for example like myself I've been working as a baker for 5 years straight now and despite the amount of hours I work on a weekly basis the policies and conduct of my company that I work for won't allow me to be a full-timer because of petty reasons like they can't afford a full-timer despite them being a chain Corporation that's just an example for my situation I am educated I have a degree I work day in day out my day starts at 1 in the morning and I'm out of there by 9-10 am in the morning there's a lot of jobs out there that are like that can people today can't survive on the minimum wage job when it comes to cost of living
@ pyro lopez - You are very typical. I grew up back in the 1960's. My father was a taxi driver but he made an acceptable middle class living for his family. This always included a five day, forty hour work week, a dinner out at a nice restaurant at least once a week and a two week vacation every summer. Since then a lot has been changed. Now a relatively few people make a very nice living in banking and finance, government and in large corporations. Meanwhile the middle class has been shrunk and it constantly struggles. The stress and constant financial pressure wears people down and eventually some of them crack.
Joe Vignolo there's no argument for me I wish I had a full-time job even though I work full-time hours my job that I have right now refuses to give me a full-time status despite the amount of hours I work per week stuff out there one of these big businesses can't or won't allow people to move up especially moving into a full-time status which is hard to find these days
This makes me so sad. This guy was awesome and ultimately cared enough to not crash in a populated area. Life makes us all sad. May all beings be free from suffering.
This was an extremely sad story about a decent man who for some unknown reason had a mental breakdown and killed himself! My deepest condolences to his family and friends. RIP Beebo!
@@desertrain4026 the news guy said the airport paid them less than the cooks and didn't care about them and made them work really hard for 12 an hour and he probably had other problems too
He stated minimum wage. SeaTac currently has the highest minimum wage in the USA currently. They raised their minimum wage to $15 a hour in 2013. It fucked over so many people. Then caused prices to rise. I was working in tukwila during that time. By the time Washington raised that minimum wage, I was making almost double the minimum wage to working minimum wage.
joyride gone wrong? that was a suicide buddy. I have listened to the exchange between Richard and the tower. he never planned on landing. and when he did the roll he thought he was pulling the trigger so to speak. he intended to end his life with a bang. and he succeeded.
He knew he was in trouble, and you could hear it in his voice, I think if he just knew how to come back with it, he would've. I was telling my partner here, in the same situation, I could probably get the thing up in the air, landing it is another story!
@@vincentmcentee8020 you are really misinformed. He wanted to go out in style. Landing a modern plane is relatively easy with help from trafic c. His plan was to crash right from the start. If he was worried about not being able to land the plane he still st least would've tryd it.
@@quackatit he knew his fate was sealed as soon as the wheels left the ground. Game over. The indecision he displays at a couple of moments are attributed to the professionalism and cool head of atc. He succumbed to a moment or two considering landing it. Seems a larger concern of his was injuring others. I don’t think he believed for a second he could get it on the ground without including a fiery crash.
yup buddy himself even said that he's going down for a long time after doing this. So Im sure he did suicide.. Its probably because of the Government and all this inflations and short wages
@ Marlene Mcgovern: I just can't believe that someone with a job with that level of responsibility makes the same money as someone slinging burgers. (Meanwhile Betsy Devos continues to steal from the Public School system while she loses her yachts (for which she avoids paying taxes and mooring fees by registering them in the Cayman Islands)). Remind me again why America is Great? (I don;t mean for the rich, we all know it's the greatest country in the world for the 1%)
@ Marlene McGovern: Only the jobs that pay too little and are too labour intensive for Americans to apply for them. After all, in the days of slavery, did white people claim that black people were stealing their jobs? Isn't it pretty much the same? (besides no longer owning people as chattel of course, and back then you imported them, now they sneak in)
We had such fun in High School Rich.... We have not seen each other since graduation and I am sad to hear what has happened. You were always a great dude and yes, people did love you buddy! Sharing a special memory, I will never forget the time you broke an entire box of stink bombs outside the girls bathroom right before class was dismissed. It was hilarious seeing the usual flow of students walking down the hallway, and then the definite deviation of flow next to the girls restroom. I can still see the students holding their noses and commenting on the stench! Most of all I remember the gut busting laughter we all shared afterward. You were a class clown for sure, but you will be missed dear friend. Blessings and looking forward to seeing you in heaven. Love you, Steve
He went out on his own terms, sometimes life at face value is just a slow slog through the mud, respect dude, hope his life is not in vain and the higher ups who make 10 to 300 times what the people who actually do the legwork do can let go of a few dollars and consider giving people a living wage,im eatin dogs n beans till i can get me a steak but the steak never ends up on the plate😢
Brandon Boom The really depressing thing about his statement was that you can insert your own largest shortcoming to make you depressed about turning thirty. For example, your mind jumped straight to losing ones virginity. I was thinking of making over $250k/yr.
At 08:36 Richard mentioned why he did that. " I'm paid a minimum wage, we'll chalk it up to that. Maybe that will grease some gears little bit with the higher ups" His work on the ramp was hard, underpaid, threated without any respect. As one of his coworkers said: "This work culture prompted Russel to teach his bosses a lesson. To show them that they has pushed a god guy to his limits". So, how we human treat people 'below us' in this profit-oriented civilisation, is the main cause of this tragedy.
Lazar Predrag Markovic One only needs to look at the pockets of all these recently indicted Politicians/Businessmen to see how we’d be able to pay for everyone to live well.
Ya, it's pretty disappointing. Aeronautics is a pretty respected field here in Washington state. When people think Washington they think of D.C., but then when you tell them WA State they think of Starbucks, Microsoft, Boeing, Valve, Sub Pop, Amazon, and beautiful vistas. I feel for the guy. I haven't done baggage work but I know it's hard work, especially with these hot days we've been having lately. Sometimes getting a low wage isn't so bad, it's the combination of a low wage along with the disrespect that comes with it. That's the kicker. Me, for example, I was making more than him, $13.50, working in a warehouse at Circuit City back when I was 19 in 2004. It wasn't the best job, but my coworkers were chill, it paid the bills, and the labor wasn't too crazy. Of course, I wish I was getting paid more, but I just wanted a better life with a little wiggle room and it was okay. I saved up enough money to go on a month long vacation to Europe with my girlfriend in 06'. He, in 2018, was 10 years older than me (in comparison), making $1.00 to $1.50 less an hour in the nation's 9th busiest airport. We could talk inflation if we wanted, we could just talk about the price of gas alone and it's still much more bleak than "just a $1.00 to $1.50" I later became a FedEx delivery driver, where I made approximately $17/hr. The guys who would load my truck made $13-$15. Airport concessions make $15, but the people handling luggage in the hot sun busting their ass make $12? In 2018? Work in and work out here doesn't make sense but there are other benefits. That's not what people focus on when you tell them "I'm a delivery guy" or "I'm a baggage handler" and you're 29. That's the kicker. No one respects hard work. It's not hard work that gets you paid anymore. We have an entire generation of dudes who were told that if they work hard they'll do fine. They are working hard but they're also seeing that people who DO NOT WORK HARD are doing better. This isn't a slight at rich people. The only comparison you need to make is me pushing boxes in a warehouse ten years ago, versus him and his coworkers, busting their asses in the hot sun pushing hundreds of pounds of luggage while working for what should be considered one of Western Washington's prime industries, getting paid less than I was, and I ain't rich. Not at all. Warehouse work isn't super hard work. Taking orders isn't super hard work. Busting your ass in construction and doing physical manual labor is hard work, but it can also be demeaning. It looks to me, that if people just respected him, he probably could've been fine with the money. He might not have felt trapped. There are a lot of bonuses that come with that minimum wage job, so that could even out the pay a bit if you love to travel, but it's that "you're a baggage handler at 29?" that really probably got to him in all honesty. Ya, minimum wage sucks, but only to the extent that people who work easier jobs are getting paid the same as you. It really does make you feel like a chump, but to be honest it's not the wage in and of itself that's the problem, it's the disdain you get from those around you and eventually end up feeling about yourself. Even though I wasn't getting paid his wage, being in a physical line of work sucks when it's not respected. I've worked construction and delivery too. It's not a bad gig, it's not a great one either, but some of my most cherished moments were when I got to talk to customers or customers would get me a drink of water or coffee or whatever (I delivered appliances for a bit too so seeing customers in their own environment after they were getting their "brand new toy" made them much less defensive and much more agreeable). Hard work isn't so bad as long as it's respected. I honestly think people would rather be respected more than paid more. It's just abundantly apparent that wage equals respect. Respect and opportunity is enough, but if the wage is so low, and the work is so hard, and you feel stuck. When you feel like you can't do anything else. Then do a barrel roll.
Wow $12 bucks an hour, free plane rides, to certain places, after he pays his bills trying to make a living, when he gets to these places for free, he has to Google soup kitchens ;(
wages have been stagnant for 4 decades while gdp has gone up..they are killing people and laughing about it, giving 2 trillion dollars to the richest...until the money is taken out of politics the corporations run the govt and everyone gets fucked up the ass with no chance to ever live a decent life no matter how hard they work.
vargo hoat l agree, like in the past, when there was castles and kingdoms give the people just enough that they don't starve but not too much where they can Rebelle!!!
Oh, and y'all out there crying about the minimum wage issue have one more quandry. Ol' Bebo, in the ATC recordings kinda hints at facing a few more problems from stealing the plane because HE'S WHITE. Hmm that's gonna lock some people into the argument that those people using him as a poster child are actually WHITE SUPREMACISTS. That little tidbit should be out in a day or two.
Vargo Hoat and Kenneth Maddock.. stop crying like babies about what other people get .. if you lazy fkin morons worked harder on getting a better education instead of sitting on your fat asses bitching you would be getting better pay.... its not the system that is at fault..its you.... your just a jealous, lazy little snowflake
Poor bastard had a psychotic break from reality. It's sad, and scary, too. We're all one step away from going bonkers and doing something irreversible even though we all want to believe we're always in control. He wasn't trying to kill anyone, and had no real motive, so I believe he just snapped.
no raise in 3 and 1/2 years. this guy is a hero. hit them in the pocketbook. the airline company deserved it big time. crap over all your employees get what you get.
Your version of a hero is jacked up. He did fly without hurting anyone, but he still put peoples life at risk and he stole an aircraft and destroyed it. So he’s a hero because he didn’t get a raise and gets back at them by doing this?? He’s dead, he destroyed an aircraft he stole, and his family and friends will never see him again. I understand he was frustrated and wasn’t fully mentally stable, but that’s not a hero move.
He wanted to be a pilot and was applying for the pilot program and the company went with a diversity hire who had recently immigrated there and had no hours with the company. He also had no prior flight experience. He felt that the 3 and a half years were for nothing and he was forced to move there so his wife could be close to family. With no room to grow and provide for his family and getting shafted by the company stuck believing a middle wage job is all he has for the future he snapped.
Terrie Cotham well the 911 pilots flew aircraft into specific targets, at impossible (at sea level) speeds. They didn't do any cool tricks along the way like this guy. Mighty impressive for someone thats never flown prior.
Terrie Cotham I'm beyond familiar with flight sims, But you can NOT just fly a real plane in reality by the seat of your pants because you have time on a sim. It's not reasonable in any way. It's laughable 😂😂
Terrie Cotham He wasn't a tech. He was a ground handler like myself. All we do is chock the plane, push back aircraft, load/unload and do pre flight checks on the outside. We have nothing to do with sitting in the cockpit and firing up engines. The guy pushed the plane out from the storage square, jumped in and took what he learnt off flight sims to do what he did. He does also sound pretty clued on by how he speaks, no dummy.... He may of been using the dash flight sim and planning this for years.
That would piss me off making 12 an hour lugging bags and dealing with the high cost of living, sorry richard may you rest in peace and my condolences to his family and friends
@ Elizabeth Cherry - Remember that period in American history between the stock market crash in 1929 and the start of WWII in 1941 when there was 25% unemployment and Americans were living in the streets? I think they called it "The Great Depression".
Uhhhhhh like yourself and i he wasn't forced to do that. A job is a contract. I'm sure he chose that job and accepted that pay and I assure u he was excited when he got the job. Look at his posts. He traveled the world. Everyone is not a victim
James Kirk I'm a female and I do that job, actually employed by the same company as Rich. Confused as to what being a male vs female has anything to do with this situation.
Wow for a novice how on earth did he pull those manoeuvres in a commercial aircraft? My heart goes out to him. Looked to me like he went out of his way not to injure anyone else. Those fighters hey!
windsor castle, I guess you also admire the shooting skills of a school shooter, or the ability of any nut to risk innocent live's and steal and destroy other people's equipment. some people not only are financially challenged, but mentally challenged.
Homecomfort. If it is a school shooter who goes out of his way to avoid hurting people then maybe I can see the similarities but then that would be a "school non shooter" would it not?
Sumed it up for me when he said broken. Seemed a character for sure. He had no intention if hurten anyone but fair play he went the way he wanted.rip big man
It wasn't a joy ride gone wrong it was a broken man tired of working for pennies & struggling 2 provide for his family! The rich get richer while the poor get poorer! RIP SKYKING ✈🕊🥀🥺
he wasnt crazy. he wasnt upset, he wasnt wanting to hurt anyone. he was done with what he felt his life and went ahead and went out how he wanted. i would honestly thank him for not hurting anyone. that is fully respectable.
Patriotic Badger I am fully aware of flight sims, but C'mon, that's insanity to think he could jump into a real plane and do this. He had to have had flying hours under his belt ..... AT THE VERY LEAST.
kikoredog your 100% correct... my grandpa used to let me take over his Champ at 12... obviously alot smaller and less complicated but flying itself is pretty simple.. keep your air speed up ect and your good to go.. as you say, landing is a whole differnt ballgame 👍
kikoredog How about a loop and skimming the water by what(????) 15 - 20 feet!?! Luck?? Sim time?? We did see the same things in the video right?? Listen, I'm just taken that someone with ZERO flight time pulled of these maneuvers. Hell, I'm beside myself he got it running, taxied and airborne.
This is the truth , I bet he was a good man. He spoke from his heart and did not want to hurt anyone else. He Didn't see a future and awakened Friday AM probably knowing he was going to end it. I hope his wife and children will get compensated better then mininum wage. I understand the pressure the poor guy is enduring. I have great respect for his courage.
johnny, you would Not be so in love with this guy If he crashed that plane into your house, while you and family were home, use your brain, if you have one that is.
He looks and sounds like anyone"s son great smile. So sad for his family and there will never be a good explanation for what he did and his obvious suicide.
I love sims. More realistic the better. The good ones use your keyboard several times over...allowing for well over 300 functions. I remember sitting in my B-17 for 45 mins, trying to figure out why i couldn't move. .. wheel chocks. I forgot to remove the chocks. 'shift + c'. jeezuz
Just gonna throw this out there.. love to hear some comments. A kid kills a bunch of people after posing next to a Confederate battle flag and then there's all this outrage to remove CSA monuments, flags, etc. Then this guy kills himself because he makes minimum wage... will there be outrage over rate of pay? Minimum wage in my state is 7.25$ btw
Jerry G I don't agree with that because if there wasn't a minimum then jobs could pay what ever they wanted think about it working construction making 2$ an hour
Yeah, should have seen my face when they said “ minimum wage is $12.00 an hour for “... I said, they need to know what its like for people in middle America, where it is still $7.25, and most good paying jobs are a long drive to work for $10.-$12. per hour!!!
Richard and his wife ran a bakery in Oregon, "Hannah Marie's Bakery". But the township drove them flat broke. Then they moved to Seattle and there they gave him a job as a luggage boy at the airport. So Rich was driven mad and not getting a chance to have a decent job.

vargo - The reason wages have stagnated is because of corrupt government that has become too big, too expensive: (1) The Federal Reserve printing money to pay off the national debt, which devalues the purchasing power of the dollar through inflation (2) government taxes have increased - local, property, state, sales, and federal taxes. That's why the standard of living has gone down - because of too-big corrupt government - not because of corporations.
I think he was shot down ? not positive but the fighter jet was shot on his trail so sad ( he sounded like such a good guy (Horizon pushed him to far)?
I just like to say he really didn't seem like a bad person i don't know why , not even sure he really does. But I'm sorry to hear such a horrible thing god bless you son god bless.
Yes, your innate sense of people not telling you the full story, possibly lying to you for some unknown reason, and the concerted invisible efforts to keep you in the dark which just has to be going on is a great television and internet story line so it must be what's going on here. Or maybe something fishy going on is only what they WANT you to believe...
Pay and work conditions on the ramp for Horizon at Seatac isn't some buried and hidden secret - but it would be simplistic to simply point to that and only that for what brought about a seemingly regular guy into going rogue - guy had a lot of things going on in his head which can only be inferred, but never truly known.
These airlines make millions and some of them billions every year. No one working on or around aircraft should be getting paid minimum wage. You have the flying public’s safety at stake and we need good hard working folks that don’t need to be worried about how their going to pay their rent and feed their kids every week. I work as a Operations Manager in the aircraft maintenance department for one of the bigger airlines now but I started off throwing bags and loading aircraft and worked my way through school to get licensed to do so. Ramp workers are definitely paid very little, work their butts off for little pay and have some of the worst shifts. I can’t tell you how many times I almost walked away from the airlines because I was treated so poorly when I worked as a ramper. This is a sad story when a man can be pushed to his breaking point like this.
I can't imagine a way to stop a big-ass plane from taxiing out to a runway that wouldn't endanger lives? I would also think the tower simply didn't have the time to understand what was happening before Bebo was in line or lining up for take off.
Not sure the FAA would go for any of that as a remote fuel shut off could get hacked and parking trucks in front of a moving plane is easier said than done. I'm not sayn these ideas wouldn't work, but I doubt they would ever get cleared as an acceptable method to stop a plane
The sad thing is people only show him love and respect now ,when he's dead. We all know someone like this. Please show your love now and not when it's to late .
I feel sry for him that he broke and couldn’t handle it any more ! I’m a CPL pilot I always loved flying but I was not lucky enough to get a job and then my dad passed away as I had to take the responsibilities for my family it’s really hard cuz now I’m working in shitty job but as a man I have to provide food on table , life is so hard so stressful but we need to be strong . RIP Richard
I live just outside of Wasilla (Alaska) where his family lives. I have flown on these prop planes of Horizon Air, which is owned by Alaska Airlines and we've long held concern of security on the airport grounds -- not specific intentionally so as to not give anyone else any ideas. But what's very odd is another Wasilla resident owns the land he crashed the plane on. Is that a coincidence?
Seattle ATC did a magnificent job keeping him talking, negotiating and not pushing or panicking Rich. ATC kept his cool. A great job well and done that controller, you did all you could possibly do.
Condolences for his family and friends. My heart is broken. I don’t know how people who use others with no regard to their welfare can sleep at night. No one is more valuable than anyone else. I’m so happy to know that his family did value him greatly.
To everyone considering suicide: Help is available. You don't have to go through this alone. There are plenty of videos on UA-cam with instructions on operating a gopro so you can share your epic loop de loops and barrel rolls with the world.
The guy obviously had ENOUGH. Can you blame him? Like Michael Douglas in "Falling Down" he encountoured one douche bag too many and pushed back. It's hard being so alone. The joy ride was quite amazing, like Icarus his last ride was his best ride.
He could have been a pilot instead of a ground handler if he could have dealt with his inner being. Now a million dollar aircraft has been lost and a man is dead, and while he may not have wanted to hurt others his actions have left many emotionally scarred for life.
probably because the f15's didnt shoot him down. He started having engine trouble in his right engine after doing the loop so he scouted for a safe place to put her down and he did just that.
He brings to light all the issues of today , there is reverse discrimination , non self supporting wages , lack of opportunity, more than anything, he was just a man that wanted A opportunity to show what he could do, and this man wanted to fly .

..........So..........it's 2018 and we are STILL NOT recording EVERY takeoff and landing.
Companies should have to pay out based on what they make so a big company like horizon should be paying up alot more than min wage. I’m sure they was embarrassed by the world knowing they pay minimum wage.
Okay I'm confused, I seen the unedited version but, did he commit suicide or did a engine really blow? Cause the pilot said "im going to nose dive and call it a night" okay that's a suicide reference but, he also said after the barrel roll "I think my engine is going out". Did he commit suicide or die by accident?
Redlantern Actually, I believe he said instruments, it was really hard to say, but he consistantly mentioned not hurting anyone else, and that if he successfully did a barrel roll, that he would nosedive and they could call it a night... according to the timing of his conversation, and the timing of the loop the loop/ or barrel roll recorded, I would say he kept his word and nosedived... also, at his last call out to the ATCs he was down to 760 gallons of fuel, and that was before the manuever, which I would say took some gallons making that lift up..... he couldnt have had much fuel left at all.... Sad, but at least he didnt take others with him, which shows me he wasnt angry... he just decided life wasnt worth living, and maybe as selfish as that seems to us, individuals do things spontaneously, that no one expects, even things like this!
He knew he was meant for more than being a airport minimum wage bamgage hander one of the motivational speakers told us all this on youtube where do you find the most untapped talent "the graveyard"

He was like a kid in a candy shop, each and everytime he boarded a plane, too bad he didn't know how to bring it back, I am pretty sure he would had, if he could!
Commandeered. He commandeered the airplane. Not stolen
also he nailed his barrel roll. That is the most important part of this epic story
Jerry K. I bet you have 200+ hours in a flight simulator. Total chad pilot
How much? Don't even have a flight sim on my machine. But sometimes, if you pay attention, sometimes you learn the difference between a split S and a barrel roll.

Something like that is highly likely...I could tell something else was going on in the background with ATC etc while they were trying to also keep up with Rich and what he was doing next. VERY sad on all accounts.
Steve Henderson ..there’s a video on UA-cam of his entire conversation with the tower. If I find it again I’ll post the link.
We live in a high stress society. People are under a lot of pressure, especially financial pressure. Some people just can't handle it all.
I came from the future to tell you that things will in fact get worse.
@@sgtcojonez It's not necessary to come from the future to know that its going to get a lot worse.

Jeff B We are all ok no matter what as long as we live life without regrets.
Kitisak Phachit The guy that told me had incredibly bad grammar. Lol.
Lazar Predrag Markovic well said. Human race is long overdue for an update. Usury system IS EVIL.
Exactly. I used to work with him as well! agreed
We could talk inflation if we wanted, we could just talk about the price of gas alone and it's still much more bleak than "just a $1.00 to $1.50"
I later became a FedEx delivery driver, where I made approximately $17/hr.
Well said

So he’s a hero because he didn’t get a raise and gets back at them by doing this?? He’s dead, he destroyed an aircraft he stole, and his family and friends will never see him again. I understand he was frustrated and wasn’t fully mentally stable, but that’s not a hero move.
Yeah but Airline didn't lose anything but an employee, Bank on the plane having insurance.
He wanted to be a pilot and was applying for the pilot program and the company went with a diversity hire who had recently immigrated there and had no hours with the company. He also had no prior flight experience. He felt that the 3 and a half years were for nothing and he was forced to move there so his wife could be close to family. No one forced you into that job. That was your doing one way or another. Don't make excuses for your failure.
vargo - The reason wages have stagnated is because of corrupt government that has become too big, too expensive: (1) The Federal Reserve printing money to pay off the national debt, which devalues the purchasing power of the dollar through inflation (2) government taxes have increased - local, property, state, sales, and federal taxes.
That's why the standard of living has gone down - because of too-big corrupt government - not because of corporations.

Something is fishy about this
Yes, your innate sense of people not telling you the full story, possibly lying to you for some unknown reason, and the concerted invisible efforts to keep you in the dark which just has to be going on is a great television and internet story line so it must be what's going on here. Or maybe something fishy going on is only what they WANT you to believe...
its the dark about what was really going on at Horizon, why dosn't anyone want to face that.
Frater Sol .... I believe, he was shot down by the F - 15
What facts do you have to conclude such a belief?
The apology gets me every time I hear it
I don't care how. I wanna know why. Seems like a good guy. Just had a break down. RIP
He is a living legend for me, you can hear that he has no intention of harming anyone. To bad he dident land and lived!
He Never Went Up There To Die He Went Up There To Feel Alive..
RIP Beebo. Thanks for the honesty. You owned that loop brother!
RIP Richie.
He literally aimed for the least populated area, just in case there were people around 😢 I love this guy I swear 💙😭
I too felt for this guy, made me cry. RIP dude.
Fyi,. Just because someone has high clearance does not mean they cannot suffer depression and anxiety.
You're my hero, Richard Russell..
Fly high, Captain Bebo!
🌠☁✈☁🌈
The sad thing is people only show him love and respect now ,when he's dead. We all know someone like this.
Please show your love now and not when it's to late .
I feel sry for him that he broke and couldn’t handle it any more ! I’m a CPL pilot I always loved flying but I was not lucky enough to get a job and then my dad passed away as I had to take the responsibilities for my family it’s really hard cuz now I’m working in shitty job but as a man I have to provide food on table , life is so hard so stressful but we need to be strong . RIP Richard
Prayers for all family and loved ones!
Is it also a coincidence that Sarah Palin and her family live in Wasilla? Perhaps you ought to include them in the conspiracy theory, too.
They do and I know them. Good people. What's your point?
I flew from homer to kodiak and I remember not having to go through security what so ever
"I think I'm gonna try to do a barrel roll, and if that goes good, I'm just gonna nose down and call it a night" -Richard you will be missed
Close to tears. Rest in peace.
Seattle ATC did a magnificent job keeping him talking, negotiating and not pushing or panicking Rich. ATC kept his cool. A great job well and done that controller, you did all you could possibly do.
RIP Bebo! Wish you were still here. I think you are awesome.
"I dont know how he was able to fly" "He was a plane mechanic for 3 years." Lmao okay bud. Im sure you dont know.
Condolences for his family and friends. My heart is broken. I don’t know how people who use others with no regard to their welfare can sleep at night. No one is more valuable than anyone else. I’m so happy to know that his family did value him greatly.
Fly well, sweet angel
To everyone considering suicide: Help is available. You don't have to go through this alone. There are plenty of videos on UA-cam with instructions on operating a gopro so you can share your epic loop de loops and barrel rolls with the world.
stylac , I was wondering if he had a go pro , how tough are they ?
My the God of comfort help the family deal with this tragedy. From what I have heard he seams like a real nice guy.
Think he has adhd. I know his pain too well
Long live Richard in memory.... Alright how am I gonna beat that?!?
This is so confusing... this guy seems so nice, polite and normal... can't make sense of it
Where's the video from all the people that were taking videos of the F-15s Shooting him down? I've yet to find any. Hmmmm
Maybe because there wasn't any?
probably because the f15's didnt shoot him down.
They pay minimun wage and it costs them a plane. RIP and salute to this guy
Fly High Bebo.I would of like to havd a beer with him.
Companies should have to pay out based on what they make so a big company like horizon should be paying up alot more than min wage. I’m sure they was embarrassed by the world knowing they pay minimum wage.
If you need a security clearance for the job, that right there should make the pay higher than for a burger flipper
He was right. Higher ups do have their head up their ass
Respect to the people who do that work
Okay I'm confused, I seen the unedited version but, did he commit suicide or did a engine really blow? Cause the pilot said "im going to nose dive and call it a night" okay that's a suicide reference but, he also said after the barrel roll "I think my engine is going out". Did he commit suicide or die by accident?
This is where the investigation comes in.
@@ValorWarrior5258 thanks!
Ran out of fuel after his last hoorah.. was down to 700lbs so going inverted obviously starved the engine.. thats when he called er quits..
Redlantern what you saw wasn't the last thing, he was shut down
The actual amount of fellow “broken” people on every video of sky king is scary. I love you all:/
Good job man👍👍👍👍👍 wer ever u are ✌🌷👍👍👍👍.!!!!💬
Hell yea..you get it... Thank you for your positive comment about a super cool and Awsome man🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸👌👌👌👌👍👍👍👍😎😎
I'm so sad, couldn't he just have landed and gotten help! RIP sweet soul
He knew he was meant for more than being a airport minimum wage bamgage hander one of the motivational speakers told us all this on youtube where do you find the most untapped talent "the graveyard"
Captain "Sky King" Russel went to the sky,
A man who didn't want to die,
He wanted to live, and live he did
Through mountain ranges he soared and fipped,
His trip ended early, and a shame it is,
That Captain "Sky King" Russel didn't get to do it all over again.
16 center, not seven.
I understand him. Men are being broken, and many of us living in quiet desperation. You wen't out more ALIVE than most of us are living. FLY HIGH brother you're free now.
