Sure it's dangerous but this wasn't some terrorist walking into an airport, he had the clearance needed and clearly enough clout to get where he wanted. In an area like SEATAC, where air traffic is very dense, it is extremely important to listen to ATC and to follow published routes. When you’re going 200-250 mph, you cannot simply “see and avoid” other traffic because you’re going too fast to see it. He created many opportunities for an aircraft collision in the air. We are really really lucky that didn’t happen. So no, he really did put a lot of people at risk. This isn’t a joke.

You can’t “study” how to fly a plane. It takes years of being in-person in a cockpit, not a video online or a simulation.
