I’m one of those people that the process has been painfully slow. Years ago I tried the carnivore life style I made it 94 days and not much changed. Now years later I decided after watching many videos I’m going to give it 2 years. Because for some that is what it takes to heal. I’m on day 143. I’m making progress. It’s only been a few weeks that I’m starting to sleep. The pain in my back, feet, neck and knees is starting to subside. 23 pounds lost. Pretty slow weight loss. So many issues to heal. All I can say to anyone is just keep going. For some it will take many many months. Honestly I should lose 75 more pounds. I’m 65 years old. Overall I feel so much better. My husband (70) made very fast progress and he looks great and feels great. We are both much happier without the up and downs of the carb addiction. Hang in there people. Carbs and seed oils are poison.

I’ve lost zero on it for over a month lol
I lose a couple, then put it back on. Then lose and back it comes 🤷🏼‍♀️ Diet doesn’t vary so I dunno.
I’m certainly not gaining muscle, no exercise lol
All I can think is my organs are being replenished as my abdomen is def shrinking and has lost visible inches & clothes are too big. But no, no muscles lol
I’m old & female too so even doing highfat I’m in for a long haul. At least I’m not gainninggggg wgt. That would be too much! I couldn’t bear it lol I’m in a good level of ketosis too.
I’m waiting another 2 mos then I’ll start getting drastic.

I am on month 15 of the carnivore way of eating and I have healed. The scale doesn’t show much movement. I’m three sizes down. I had gained weight after a very successful keto run for about six or seven years. I walk almost every day, and I do dumbbells and a home gym and bands. It is very slow for me because I’m 64. My 2 favorite people in the health and wellness space to listen to! Kelly, I love your story, energy, spirit, realness and kind heart. ❤ Sarah, I love that you have spoken out and stated that carnivore doesn't fix everything. I love that you have shared your story of having to dig deeper for better health and wellness. ❤. I am so tired of some of the docs and others in the carnivore space who want you to just "carnivore harder" and have a one size fits all approach. Thank you ladies!

Thank you so much for this! I eat a carnivore diet, but after watching this I realize that there is still a LOT I can do to improve weight loss. I have a high cortisol job, and some of my habits are really not helping with weight loss: waking up at 5:00am and doing fasted workouts using my iPad or iPhone, checking my phone before sunrise, not getting early morning sun, not wearing my expensive blue blocking glasses at night AND in the morning, working on emails right up until bedtime, not using my clip-on amber light at night to read, falling asleep using my iPad, and using my iPad when I wake up in the middle of the night. These are all things to fix! I’ve got all the tools but haven’t been using them. Although I’ve been doing cold plunges and hot tubs recently, there is still so much more I can do. Thank you so much for the powerful reminders to be attentive to my circadian rhythm. I downloaded Sarah’s free 12-page guide and it is excellent! I’m off to enjoy a paddle on the lake in the morning sun followed by a cold plunge!❤

The “muzzling and imprisonment period” completely messed up the trajectory of my life and ultimately wrecked my health. I was in AMAZINGLY good health and fit prior. Staying in the house, staring at screens, listening to the “scare everyone to death” propaganda. Then the additional traumas of witnessing loved ones and community trying to deal with and react to this same circus of lies. The only light in my overuse of screen time in the end was searching for better answers and finding the carnivore and keto tribes. I am so grateful to Dr. Saladino, Dr. O’Mara, Ivor Cummins, Prof. Seyfreid, Dr. Baker, Dr. Seeman, Dr. Bickman, Dr. Chaffee, Dr. Kiltz, and many other coaches like Bronson Dant and Ms. Kelly Hogan. Slowly and steadily pulling myself and family out of this carbage dump of mental and physical ideologies of unwellness we’re being pushed to consume. 🖖🏽 Thank you beautiful ladies for this very enlightening discussion 💙

Interesting topic, it is always very relevant here in the European Arctic (Northern Sápmi), every summer from may to july when we have the midnight sun/24 hour daylight, how people get enough sleep. So blackout curtains is big business.. But mostly people stay up late because they are just so happy to see the sun after long winter and polarnight. In polarnight when it's no sunlight, people will eat a lot of fish oil, organs etc. At least before modern diets took over, which is sadly the case even for us Sámi and Kven people.

So it sounds like people who work 2nd or 3rd shifts are SOL? I'm retired now but I worked nights more than half my adult life, and yes, I had endometrial cancer and was dxd with an autoimmune disease, plus had terrible problems sleeping which continues to this day. Additionally, plenty of us live in apartments and don't have the luxury of stepping outside our doors onto nice lawns to feel the sun on our faces.

Yes, that was one of the major findings of the Nurses Health Study, which I believe was the largest and longest study ever conducted on lifestyle effects on women. Those who worked night shifts were much more prone to all kinds of very serious health problems. Fortunately your circadian cycle can be brought back to normal fairly quickly, so if you're retired now, you can start undoing all of that dysregulation.

I go outside every single morning as soon as the sun is first rising. It’s my favorite time of day. I’ve been carnivore for 5 months now. I lost 30# and I’ve been stuck for months. I usually fall asleep about 8-8:30 pm, but I wake up at midnight to 1am wide awake. I toss and turn and usually get up and make a coffee with butter and cream by 4am and I wait for the sun to come up and head outside to water and thank god.
I’m lifting weights too. I’ve increased my fats. I eat ribeyes almost everyday and add a pat of butter. I usually eat eggs and bacon for breakfast around 9am. My last meal is usually 3-4pm.
I also make myself lay in the sun each day for a minimum of 10-15 minutes for extra vitamin d.

I’ll try to increase that. I live high on a hill so walking back up the path to my house is an extreme incline! Plus the weights!, whew.
I’ve adjusted all my iPads, phones to go to the nightshade. I’ll start charging them at night in another room. My sleep has always been a problem. I have never slept more than 1-3 hours per night. It sucks. I’m 53 years old. Female. Any tips or tricks that have worked for y’all, plz share. God bless. ❤️

I do think the sunrise, sunset and sunlight are I important but some of us do get up way before sunrise and live in housing areas where you can’t see the sunset. I’ve driven out of my neighborhood many times to see the sunset and yes it feels good and I love it but it’s not practical to do everyday or maybe we are still at work inside a building while the sun is going down. However, The air we breathe is just as important as the food we eat. So, Getting fragrances & harsh chemicals out of the home unless they are from essential oils or natural cleaning agents are more important in my eyes. We can only control so much. Not to mention the air ducts in your home need to be cleaned along with regularly replacing the air filter. The air we breathe really does matter. I have no problem putting my phone down and away from me that’s easy and free. I love ❤️ y’alls videos I do but for those of us that jobs or homes don’t allow us access to the sunrise or sunset do the other things you can control beyond the diet.

Unfortunately, if you don't have an apple or iPhone, there is no redlight option for you. I can't keep from using my phone at night since I have tinnitus and can't even think about sleeping without the brown noise. My husband works from home and is oncall frequently, so turning off the wifi is not an option. Our yard is full of stickers and there are ticks and scorpions and all kinds of other insects, so we have to prepare for any time outside. Be thankful if you can just walk outside barefooted and enjoy soft green grass or fall asleep without having a sound to mask the booms and pops inside your ear.

There is a free app called Twilight that I use on my Android phone. I think it's much better than the iPhone triple-tap red filter, because it fades to red slowly, as the light outside gets lower. It's barely noticeable, but by the time it's dark out, my screen has a solid red-orange tone.
Another thing that's better about it is that you can set the controls to the way you like it. You can set the redness levels and you can set the dimness levels. And once you've set it, you never have to think about it again (unless you decide to make a change again).
It's really fantastic, and so easy to use. I'm not an "app person" by any means, but I found it very straightforward - and as I said, free!

And 2, I cannot consume grain fed meat at all because of sensitivities to corn. Chronic inflammation will impede your success especially weight loss. So I'm having to address that first before any pounds of fat are lost.

They cut a big hole in the ice in one of the many lakes we have, usually in January, and people voluntarily jump in. I have never been brave enough to do it, and for some, it takes a significant volume of alcohol ;)

I'm all onboard for getting outside. Fresh air, exercise, great. You don't need grounding mats, wires, and all that nonsense. You do not pick up electrons by touching ground. Wireless devices do NOT cause your blood to do anything at all. When you start trafficking in this kind of misinformation, I lose respect.
I'm also all onboard for having a healthy sleep cycle and keeping the blue light out of your eyes before bed. A good pair of blue blockers is all you need. You don't need apps and you don't need to stare at the sun or be uncomfortable in the sun. Wear sun glasses if you need them. It's like standing in the shade, not putting on a sleep mask.
You also don't need all the other nonsense Sarah started peddling such as "heavy water". That's what happens when you listen to Jack Kruse too much.
I like Kelly's take about keeping it simple. If you want to tinker with some stuff like this that might make a teensy bit of difference around the margins, knock yourself out but don't make people feel like any of this is mandatory to do carnivore.

Of course I’m not Miss Kelly, so I’m sure that she will have a better answer, but…..
We raise our own beef so we know exactly what is in it from the point of conception, that being said, I would recommend looking for a local rancher in your area that you can purchase beef from.
We have raised cattle for 40 years and have not heard of gene therapy. (But I know that I live under a rock most of the time too. lol)
I could be wrong, I wonder if you are thinking of hormone implants?
Either way, your local rancher will let you know exactly what the cattle have had in their systems, plus you will be supporting local. 🥩🥩🥩
Good luck to you and best wishes!! 🐮

@@luthergirl106 she means the experimental gene therapy injections otherwise known as CV vaccinations (these ones are NOT vaccines at all).
Most of America has no access to cattle farmers/ranchers. There are online services even to send u meat from ranches but it’s cost prohibitive.
If u can afford this snd have the space to raise cattle, poultry, etc you are blessed and quite unique.
