Just not as talented. They never were forced to practice/get the talent as much as groups used to. They can instantly be found on UA-cam for example before they had to fight for success.
Probably one of the best songs ever written in the 80s. The 80s had so many great songs it’s hard to think what would be the best songs, but “Africa” would definitely be on that list.

What's truly amazing is that composer and lead singer David Paich created this wonderful song without ever having been to Africa. When the band finally did get to Africa they received so many compliments on how it captured the spirit of the continent.
