I presume this is a safety feature of all zippered enclosures. Unless Jorge's suitcase is damaged, she either had to lock the zipper with a small lock or zip-tie or else had to incapacitate him so he was unconscious (baseball bat whack??).

It's just not that simple. It was a two-way toxic relationship. There were multiple DV calls to police. For both of them. It was ending this way for one of them. It was just a coin toss which one killed the other.

Not only that she was the one with no job living off alimony from her ex husband. Jorge had a job two weeks before he died but the place shut down so she’s dragged him through the mud and lied each step of the way. I knew she was lying too when she said he kicked the dogs because in the police bodycam the dog could have easily gone out the front door to Sarah but instead the dog was sitting loyally by Jorge’s dead body 😢

She's not just a drunk person. Something more is wrong with her mentally. I've met a lot of mentally ill people as I have mental illness myself. We do things that appear heartless but once medicated, treated and stabalised we are more functional and empathetic. The fact that she keeps firing her lawyers and wants to represent herself tells me she is unstable and possibly either psychopathic, narcissistic or dissociative. Once you add substances into the brain of someone with mentally dysfunction, the behaviour and thought process becomes worse to the point of horrific. When I saw how small the suitcase actually was I was shocked. Also how much they struggled with the zipper. Both the CSI and Sarah herself struggled with zipping. There's no way he could have opened it himself. We don't know if it was zipped at his head or feet. We know at some point the lid was face down on the floor.

She depicts as someone who has to have the final words and loves to talk and receive attention. How can you fall asleep until noon 12:30pm when in fear? And how can you sleep til noon knowing your boyfriend is still inside the suitcase?
Substance abusers do that. I have mental health conditions and I sleep for long periods. I oversleep a lot. However, I definitely would not advocate anyone getting in a confined space. I don't know if it's empathy or intelligence but those two definitely were compromised in the brain.
Oh God, that sounds worse than any length of solitary confinement. And studies say that solitary can cause brain damage after a while. I think I'd want to claw out my own eardrums if I was ever stuck in a cell with her. I don't imagine a reason why I would ever end up in jail since I try to stay on the right side of the law. But if ever, being stuck with her in a cell sounds like a nightmare.
The reason she didn’t separate from Jorge is that she didn’t want to live alone. She would rather live in a toxic atmosphere at home than live by herself, because she had never ever done that.

She had more power and control even if he was retaliating. Add mental illness and substance abuse, in and it was always going to end badly. That's why i left my husband. I am diagnosed neurodivergent and he wanted more power and control. It was never going to work.

Maybe I’m missing something but she said the case was open at one corner that’s how they showed it in court . So if that’s the case why doesn’t it look like that when video is happening or when she flipped the case over …. Did she zip it completely or not . She’s lying there’s no way his hands were able to get out if he had that space at all when she left to room surely he could have gotten out then if there was that much of a gap. Not only that she was the one with no job living off alimony from her ex husband. Jorge had a job two weeks before he died but the place shut down so she’s dragged him through the mud and lied each step of the way. I knew she was lying too when she said he kicked the dogs because in the police bodycam the dog could have easily gone out the front door to Sarah but instead the dog was sitting loyally by Jorge’s dead body 😢

She’s a control freak and to me it’s almost like she was trying to act like she cares so much for Jorge that she makes sure she keeps him busy by painting and doing puzzles. It might have started out some sort of game but she liked to have him in a position where he had to beg her and pled. All the documenting all of her injuries but not one video of him
being volatile and yelling or hurting her. She has no remorse and she’s the only victim. I’ve been beaten up and I didn’t stay. She had the car. She had the apartment and she had a car to leave. Who was the real victim. She’s guilty!!
She either dared him to see if he could fit or somehow convinced him to get it. Her story of playing hide and seek doesn't fly. He said he hid in the suitcase and she hid in the bathtub. In hide and seek, both players do not hide. She is a pathological liar and this was a fabricated story.

He said he couldn’t breathe and she acknowledged that by saying ‘that’s on you’, which means she understood he couldn’t breathe, and because she did nothing to let him out, and because she is the one who closed the suitcase, MURDER.
Maybe there is some abuse happening here, but that just doesn’t justify what she did, or in this case, didn’t do.

There was a kind of premeditation because she mentioned hide and seek to someone before the crime also she said she wanted to get rid of him.

She's not just a drunk person. Something more is wrong with her mentally. I've met a lot of mentally ill people as I have mental illness myself. We do things that appear heartless but once medicated, treated and stabalised we are more functional and empathetic. The fact that she keeps firing her lawyers and wants to represent herself tells me she is unstable and possibly either psychopathic, narcissistic or dissociative. Once you add substances into the brain of someone with mentally dysfunction, the behaviour and thought process becomes worse to the point of horrific. She's more sober in jail but she's not behaving rationally by any stretch of the imagination in a court room. Rational people get their lawyer and shut up.

When I saw how small the suitcase actually was I was shocked. Also how much they struggled with the zipper. Both the CSI and Sarah herself struggled with zipping. There's no way he could have opened it himself. We don't know if it was zipped at his head or feet. We know at some point the lid was face down on the floor.

If he was that size, i can squat him and I'm a woman. Nah rationally look at who is the bigger person and then look for bruising and stratches. My ex shoved me into a wall. He was bigger and i had a bump on my head. I was thinner then. Now i weigh 200lbs, less people mess with me. Predators and prepretrators pick smaller humans. 100lbs or less.
She depicts as someone who has to have the final words and loves to talk and receive attention. How can you fall asleep until noon 12:30pm when in fear? And how can you sleep til noon knowing your boyfriend is still inside the suitcase?
Substance abusers do that. I have mental health conditions and I sleep for long periods. I oversleep a lot. However, I definitely would not advocate anyone getting in a confined space. I don't know if it's empathy or intelligence but those two definitely were compromised in the brain.

Oh God, that sounds worse than any length of solitary confinement. And studies say that solitary can cause brain damage after a while. I think I'd want to claw out my own eardrums if I was ever stuck in a cell with her. I don't imagine a reason why I would ever end up in jail since I try to stay on the right side of the law. But if ever, being stuck with her in a cell sounds like a nightmare.

She enjoys the toxicity and i believe she stayed with him because he was small and she could control him easier. He wasn’t even allowed his own phone. She controlled things. I believe she found a phone that night and she got angry. Phone found in suitcase.
As a survivor,I want to say that this case makes a mockery out of those victims who actually react in the moment to immediate danger from their abusers.These 2 people were totally disfuncional and co dependent.There isnt one among us who has been abused who hasnt thought about killing our abuser.I testified against mine from a hospital bed.What stands out is that the photographs are not accompanied with police reports ,she somehow only recorded his begging for his life but not the part where she says he threatened hers ,and she has never stated that he said"I WILL END YOU" until the trial.

I'd say they both were physically hurting each other. She definitely was controlling if she didn't allow him his phone. It's about power and control. She had more power and control even if he was retaliating. Add mental illness and substance abuse, in and it was always going to end badly. That's why i left my husband. I am diagnosed neurodivergent and he wanted more power and control. It was never going to work.

I am a spouse who survived domestic abuse. I've sat in groups with other women who have experienced abuse. She does not appear abused by any stretch of the imagination. Now that could be the substance addiction but she is more sober and clean in jail and she still is acting dysfunctional.
