Have you ever wondered if Hulk (And maybe Kryptonite) are the reason you associate green with radioactivity? Cause Hulk did it first, and now a whole bunch of irradiated characters are green.
He went from Solomon Grundy to Frankenstein

It's neat, but by the way he described it, it was completely random, so it would have just been jarring and ruined a lot of shots
@tellg0t090 100% the unintentional color changing wouldn't be great but if It had been made with the express intent of showing his current emotional state purely through the use of his color darkening over time could've been cool
It would’ve been cool that, like in some comics or even the 2000’s Hulk movie, Hulk got bigger and bigger the angrier he got, it would’ve been cool if his green color got darker as he gets angrier

I'm assuming he was meaning for heroes themselves. Looking at it from the standpoint he's referring to the main character it sort of makes sense. That character will be shown in every page just about of the comic where as villains though true many after had green, outside of certain issues and storylines green goblin is not shown in most of Spiderman's panels. A lot of the comments are complaining about imaginary “liberals” in this comment section calling Stan a racist. I literally don’t see a single comment complaining about the Hulk’s skin color or calling Stan a racist. Yall really just make up problems in your head and get mad about them 😂 Like imagine being so anti-“woke” that you create a fictional scenario where the “liberals” are coming out in droves to complain about the skin color of the hulk, and I’ll repeat it to really drive home the lunacy, THE HULK, and going into a rage about it 😂😂😂 These are probably the same guys who walk down a street and see a woman and get mad about society forcing gender equality down our throats 😂
This is just what the anti-woke crowd does. Constantly. Pretty much every major talking point these people have has it's origins in something some right winger making something up to be mad about.
Maybe 8 years of being called nazis it’s just a knee jerk reaction.

Hulk’s design is greatly inspired by Boris Karloff’s Frankenstein’s monster and even tho the movie is in b & w, the makeup was said to be green.
