Great video Zach. This is the pedal I’ve wanted to get! One day. It’s also great hearing how Robert Keeley is always helping other builders. Loved by so many for not just his great pedals.
Great pedal Zach!
Got one about a year ago. Absolutely love it! Cheers.
I have the same Fender precision as you do hanging on the wall. Beautiful instrument.
This is the pedal that made me fall in love with fuzz. It’s so responsive to your volume knob. It’ll be on my board for a long time
I bought a used one about a month or so ago and it's been a really fun addition to my board. Never had a fuzz before and I agree that it's a great first fuzz pedal
thanks for sharing
It’s a great fuzz, absolutely want to score summer vibe colors👍
Love my Golden Fleece. Such a simple yet perfect thing. Will be regarded as an all time pedal, if it isn't already.
I owned one a few years back and sadly had to sell it on but it was a killer pedal. I used to put an EP boost after it for a solo boost and sounded amazing for my Tele
The real caveat is that this pedal is going to make you really love fuzz, and you will then want to buy all sorts of fancy fuzzes. Truth be told, the Golden Fleece will still be one of your favorites.
I hope you're right mine comes Tuesday. Most videos I see on this pedal as soon as they back off the volume a little on the guitar makes this sound great unlike the Fuzz pedal I've tried before.
The AU79 made me “get” fuzz, love it!!
Thanks for the video, Zach!
I’ve been curious, any feedback on using the pedal with a bass? 😁
The golden fleece and all of it's other iterations has made me literally consider selling all of other fuzz pedals (including my favorite sunface)... Absolutely love this pedal!
Damn tasty playing❤😊
Hi Zach, I briefly had the High Road on my board and really like it with my Strat plugged directly in. However when using a wireless or putting a buffer in front it kind of changed the feel and the tone got a bit harsh. Can you tell me if the original golden fleece is also picky with buffers in front?
I love my au79. It’s perfect to get into light fuzz territory
We all seem to owe a debt of gratitude to Robert Keeley. My feet have certainly stomped on more than one of his pedals… And continue doing so. Your pedal sounds great… Even though I am not a “one knob“-type guitarist.😊
Cheers/Slainte 👨🏼⚕️🎸🫶✌️♾️.
Spirit in da sky
Fantastic Intro.
Thanks!
In regards to Isolated Power Supplies, does the Au79 or High Road dislike daisy chaining with 2 other gain pedals?
i love the tone but that slapback echo reverb thing how do you achieve that?
Hello, great playing and tone! I have one but it doesn't work well with my wah (guitar > wah > tuner > fuzz). There's no wah wah sound coming out.
Any recommendations/ideas how to make it work pls?
I'm using a dunlop crybaby. Which wah would work according to you?
Thx in advance for your reply.
Cheers,
Benjamin
If the tuner has a buffer it can affect the fuzz and wah wah.
What amp are you using?
I ordered mine 45 seconds into your video
What would your recommendation be if I’m using a wireless system but still wanna have fun with fuzz and volume rolloff?
We’re working on a solution but it’s not the easiest thing with old school fuzzes
@@MythosPedals can’t wait to see what you come up with. From my research it looks like something people are really wanting and needing.
Could someone enlighten me why the pedal wouldn’t work as well after a buffer? I have a polytune mini 3 in front in the beginning of the chain. It has a buffer in it. Will that make the golden fuzz automatically sounding less good or….?
There is an AWESOME That Pedal Show explaining impedance. It will explain it better than I can
Where do you get your backing tracks from?
I made that one with drum loops
Is this pedal get temperamental to heat? I have a Tonebender style fuzz that is useless at outdoor shows in the summer...
Nope, it's not a germanium transistor.
Hasn’t left my board in 3 years
love fuzz, but I use wireless and fuzz hasn't worked for me with my setup...
We're working on it
@@MythosPedals That would be awesome! There are some pedals out there but I've not taken the plunge yet, maybe I'll hold off a bit more and see what magic ya'll work up.
But what if it actually lived in my guitar 👀
