- Today i am taking a deep dive into the new SC 3.24.1 Patch.
During my play thought i noticed enemy npcs was top side at a bunker. after some more testing and reading i learned that this was actually intended for release.

okay different topic but have you tried lvl 4 missions on microtec? If so have you been able to actually play and complete them?
Yeah the mission I’m doing in the video is a lvl 4 bunker mission. I can’t say the same for logistics depot missions. But from my exp if an enemy didn’t spawn. Wait it out and the mission will auto complete
@@FriedChickin okay good to know I tried it two times first time i waited over an hier for the last enemie to spawn but nothing second one worked without a hitch. What about your performance at the dirstro venter have u seen any changes this patch?
Nah the logistics centers usually seem to be a hit or miss. It will either run flawlessly or I’ll get stutters when going to different areas.
Thanks for posting. I love the bunker mission loop but it has been ruined in my opinion, not by these surface spawns but by the looting system. If this was patch 3.23 I would love the addition of surface hostiles but now I have to kill all these spawns and do what? loot a few and then leave? or what? Pull out my tractor and one by one load the dead npc's onto my ship fly away from the area land and go through the painful loot process??? at least with surface spawns I dont have to load up the elevator and hope it dont glitch through it bringing the bodies up lol. But seriously, shoot and loot is a long standing game play loop across almost all MMO's and the current 3.24.1 inventory system has impacted it so much that I have gone back to World of Warcraft until CIG gets developers that actually play the game, to fix the inventory system... or at least creat a neat flair item for my tractor beam multi tool.. say a glowing leash with a golden collar with dog biscuit tags for the 2 SCU box I have to pull along to every location and mission!!
@@casius00I actually don’t mind the new inventory system. I just bring a2 scu crate down into the bunker with me. After I finished doing the bunker, i pile all the bodies near the crate. Go from one to body to another and drop all their items. After that I go my cargo crate and start dropping everything into the crate. It’s pretty fast. Maybe I should make a video on it
This new design makes sense to encourage people to tackle these missions in groups instead of the silly concept of an individual soloing an entire security bunker full of forces. You leave some people topside to control the area and take out NPCs there, another part of your squad descends into the bunker to clear it - the way it should work for a believable universe design👍
Or they could just make the waves alternate between surface and basement, then it wouldn't be a big deal at all. Making the NPCs use the main elevator would be the ultimate lol.

What diff it make they stand there in groups of 50 and do nothing.. dumb AI..

honestly depends on how the server is feeling i think because sometimes they stand around and do nothing, but sometimes they push your position and are very accurate and respond to you being in their view quickly.
Can't wait for the server tick rate to get low enough for these to be more challenging. a while back there was a server fail and everyone on the server got kicked and somehow it was just myself and a friend. 2 total on the server and we did a bunker mission in that state and it was brutal. We completed it but it took a few attempts being super careful. They flanked, they charged they were truly scary. Best bunker mission ever. We talked about how they could have branching evolutions where a vehicle full of enemies would drive in and try to retake the bunker from the outside. So many options for gameplay like that.
@@nathangerardy2669 so at the launch of 3.24.0 their was a bug. If you tried joining a friends server the game would actually create a new server with you as the only person in it. I ran some missions then, and bruh. It felt like an actual fps. But the devs talked about how the game is supposed to run like that all the time in the past. Why I just add everyone, so I can find those low pop servers
i believe that this might be a test where the ai that spawn outside take the lift down instead of all just spawning from the doors inside the bunker, but the ai isnt all that good and dont interact with things yet
Bunker busting is my favorite form of gameplay. What I noticed so far is the enemy Ai usually spawns on top of friendly Ai and they get stuck. Would be cool if the Ai was smart enough to press buttons
I like the variety of gameplay. Ive grinded this so much. Id prefer going up and down because i play with friends who id post up top
