Fishing Whitsundays on the Great Barrier Reef - Coral Trout, Nannygai & Red Emperor (Catch & Cook)

Quick trip up the Whitsundays fishing the Great Barrier Reef with my wife. Only managed a half days fishing but the fish were chewing.
Fishing gear used. Wilson Venom Rod PE 2-5, 7ft in length. I matched it with a Shimano Stella 14k with 100lb Daiwa Saltiga Braid.

Great vid mate. You’re spot on with the brain spike and gill clip, one or two cut gills will bleed the fish out as long as it’s straight after the spike. Keep the good content coming 👍🏽

Recommendation
1) Dont pour soya sauce before steam.
2) After steam drain the water below fish
3) Pour soya sauce
4) Add spring onion
5) Pour some hot oil on fish.
6) done.

Ahh i grew up here was a great place to grow up. Sailing fishing shooting hunting trail Bike riding the flat track at the back of Jubilee Pocket the wild life park the Aqurium , The trawler Wreck on double cones .....It truly is a wonderfull place ... Ahh QLD great one day ... The only problem with the Whitsundays is the Southerners that moved in and continue to move in .Can't blame them though ... They tell me its progress ... MY GOD Man stop ruining the Trout , butter ,lemon & salt ......MAYBE and its a big MAYBE if ya want to be real flash ya can flour it ...... Byall means do that to gold spot , nannys , never Trout nor Blueys nor Emperor ..... Another great vid mate ...
