Amazing a joke can permanently attach and add itself to a thought.

Storage space isn't infinite. Our electricity isn't infinite. In 300 years, you'd be lucky to find a handful of iconic videos from today. They'll be too busy consuming and creating their own content to care about it.

Great storyteller, blends in the news and internet culture seamlessly, doesn't rely on stereotypical crowd work and crass humour, speaks in the microphone with a mellow voice as if he was talking to a long time friend, never jumps around, yelling and sweating. I also noticed that the man never cusses.

Until that last damn line. When i say laughter burst out of me like a freight train and feels like it took my 3 ribs with it and maybe broke a few more on the way out, I aint jokin. Holy shit he is dangerously funny. That call back hit me outta nowhere. BRAVO Josh!! Everyone else, stay safe. I only discovered your work a few days ago. Several hours in, my wife and my 80+ mom are floored by your work as well. You possess the most original stand-up voice I've heard in far too many years. Yeah, you're an entertainer, and a world-class comedian, but you're also a philosopher, and an incisive observer of our world, our culture.
I'm in my 60s, and I've been listening to the greats of comedy since I was in single digits, since dinosaurs roamed the earth - since the actual 60s. I'm putting you right up there in the pantheon, no joke. Your command of language, your ability to think on your feet, take risks, and faultlessly land a line are all the marks of a champion, and put you in a class well above the simple term 'comedian'; you're the real thoughtful deal. Thanks for shining a little light. Stay fearless - onstage, at least - and keep on keepin' on.
    Signed,
    Three new fans!

The true mark of a great comedian is being able to take the crowd on a ride down multiple tangents that have absolutely nothing to do with one another until the end when it's tied up in a neat bow with where the journey actually started so it all correlates.

Apparently, according to the comments, goldfish can live a lot longer than we think (35+ years). And I think that makes his analogy even better. If someone is a goldfish, depending on the level of care and attention we give them they could last a week to many, many years. Outliving the dog we had that we thought would outlive the goldfish. We give these people attention online over stupid stuff (even negative attention) the longer that goldfish will be around. 😂
