The RODE Wireless GO II can output digitally via the USB-C port. The DJI Osmo Action 3 accepts external USB microphones, so with this particular setup, you should be able to connect the Wireless GO II Receiver directly to the Action 3 with a USB-C to USB-C cable.
Hello, I want to buy DJI Osmo Action 4 but the only thing that is holding me back is the confusion around how to connect external mic. So if you can answer this: I have TRS to TRRS cable. For inserting the TRRS, if I use Apple's USB-C to 3.5mm adapter, will it work? Because I don't want to buy another USB-C to 3.5mm adapter as they are very pricey. So pls tell me if Apple's USB-C to 3.5mm adapter will work.
The focus and sharpness... Sounds like you have not updated your firmware. DJI released a update that completely fixes those issues, and adds some nice additional features. Try it, you'll love it.
your camera takes a while to get the audio from the external microfone when you press record? mine takes like a 10 seconds, the video starts with the onboard and then switch to the external. its messing up all my shots.
Hey - I'm using a Godox wireless, going out of the receiver TRS to TRRS, to a Boya 3.5mm to USBC, but I get no mic signal...any ideas? The Osmo is set to stereo.
Hi. So I purchased a Go Pro Hero 11 in Dec 2022. Its been exchanged twice and the third camera is doing exactly the same. Turning off and freezing. I've lost hours of footage and use it on my motorbike for vlogging. It doesn't over heat as docent stay on long enough. I think the video quality is excellent but it is so unreliable. I was looking at the osmo 3 as a replacement. Is there anything better. Thanks Tim.
@@ZanderRound I do all my editing through my Samsung s21 using video guru. It's simple and quick for me to use. The problem I see with the insta 360 x3 will be the editing for me so want to keep it simple. I vlog on a motorbike so want an external mic. With the gp11 I could use media mod, plug in power from bike and my purple panda. Seem on the osmo its charge or use external mic. Saying that the batteries last ages and I'll probably buy the 3 battery one. What's your opinion on a hero 8? They are cheap and seem reliable. Is the osmo3 alot better. Thanks Tim.

Man this is deviling me. Apparently to starve out the A3 is a dick move to force consumers to the Pocket models. I just filmed a shoot where the camera decided to not detect the mic I bought half the time.

Have you found that the signal is too hot? Can you adjust the gain Down enough so it is not distorting??

Check out the insta360 x3 too, both action 3 and x3 better alternatives and more reliable

Connected an mke 200 w trs directly to usbc input .. no problemo. Check your cables . Maybe u have a bad one.

Is it suppressing any background audio because for MotoVlog most of the mics with adaptor removing bike sound completely and it looks weird

Or alternatively you can use the same mic adaptor you had for the action 1..,, that’s a simpler solution….
Many reported that the Cynova audio adapter for Action 1 does not work on Action 3.
