Do you recommend one in particular? @@freelyroaming
I'm a Dirt Bike Adventure Rider
For compactability (not get cables hung up on passing bush)
DJI Osmo Action 4 (alloy cage)
DJI Mic2's (Bluetooth connected)
I don't get any mic icon popping up automatically. The mic works with other action cameras and my phone, just not the action 4. Any adeas hot to activate the mic on action 4?
The latest update no longer shows the mic icon.
Ah, ok, thanks @@freelyroaming. I'll try the different combinations again then and hope it works better on the second try.
You probably know that they just recently upgraded the firmware so the DJI 2 transmitter connects directly to the camera, no need to hook up the receiver anymore
Yes hopefully I will get mine in a month.
whats the case you use on the action 4? so i can attach my mic

I have the Action 4 in the cage that came with it... I see no shoe to attach an external mic...hmmm.
That's right. You need an after market cage.
so the mic doesn't need to have an external power source?
Depends on the mic. None of the mics shown here need additional external power.
How did you attach the receiver to your camera case?
An aftermarket case like this one.

@@freelyroaming awesome! Thank you! Your video was super helpful! Getting the mics set up to do interviews at an event. Thanks again!
