My EZGO is a 2017 and you cannot disconnect it or it will not run. But you can muffle it and it's way better. It is located under the seat on the passenger side.
That should be an RXV and you can’t disable that one or it’ll fail startup. Only the txt you can disable and still run the cart.
Do you know how to disable a 2002 model?
Remove the front cup holder. It clips into the dash and itll be in the same spot behind the dash

Would that be the same on a 2014 EZGO RXV
No. The reverse buzzer for the RXV is below the cover that has your run/tow switch. It’s wired in and can not cut it. You can only muffle it. You cut the wire the RXV will fail startup and won’t run.

How do I remove the governor or modify it to make it faster I have a txt 48
You need a speed code. Ezgo dealers and rebuilders usually can do this. If you are near my shop I do it as well for a fee. Max you can go without the code is 14.8mph. With the code 19.5mph.
