Hey hun, great vlog! I'm thinking of planning a trip to Edinburgh, to this area (first time) in June as a surprise for my husband. We will be getting a train from Warrington, Cheshire. I'm wondering if you know, can you tell me any information regarding nearest train station to this area hotels places to eat etc x
Thank you so much! The nearest station is Waverley and from rose st where I stayed it would be a five minute walk to the hotel its really close and central to princess st. The cold house brew is really nice to eat, they have three different floors so if book the roof top terrace it will be amazing in June with an incredible view of the castle! We tried to book The Ivy but it was sadly booked up. @pizza had amazing sourdough pizzas and was really affordable. If you want drinks, tonic was very lively with music and Panda and sons is a barber shop but you open it up and is a bar! We had it booked but I felt too ill to go but I regret it! let me know if you need more info xxx
I’ve never seen a hotel room like that! One day I hope to visit some castles. Looks like a wonderful trip.
