Oh,Puerh for sure,in fact,with my 1980s Sheng,I drink the rinse,just because I’m stingy with valuable teas🤣 But,other than black tea and puerh,I kinda tend to not do a rinse. Yes,those tightly rolled Oolongs to need to be woken up,but yellow green and whites,in my opinion,they hit the ground running! Some Oolongs do too!

historically, you did. the adage is the first rinse/cup is given to your enemies since you don't know the dirt and crap on those leaves.
