Wow, I’ve been working with metal and building cars for 30+ years and don’t stop to watch others often, but what you do is on a whole different level! True artistry. Keep posting vids, your work needs to be seen.
Glad the yt algorithm is throwing some good stuff in my feed the last dew days! That's a lot of work that 95% of the people won't notice, but will win you awards at shows and praise from the yotaholics. Thanks for sharing!
Wow.... just wow. I've been in the automotive industry for almost 20 yrs now and this vid just brought back that butterflies in my stomach feeling that I had when I first started. Awesome work. Liked and subscribed!
As we know your metal working skills are wonderful but your eye for lines and let's call artistic expression is also great. Most can just throw a panel on or chop a top but your addition of body lines and flow is also awesome.
I love going back and watching her old videos. And I'm still blown away! Also I've never been one to chase after taken women...but I'll just say her man's lucky I'm not in Australia! ❤️😍
Love seeing a female getting into this kind of industry trying to teach my daughter the same kind of work she is 8 and spend all the time she can at our business
. . . . . .. 1) A way to help minimize the HAS is to get some cheap magnets of ebay or gumtree or something, various sizes, bung em in the freezer and by welding with the chilled magnets either side of the join it will help with reducing distortion. Use the magnet size with the biggest surface area within reason. (Shhhhhh. Keep this one close to ya chest) 2) when sectioning in a panel, if acess to a pneumatic body saw is available, an alternative method that can be used if the replacement panel contours are very similar is to lay the replacement panel over the existing like usual as if to scribe out, secure, whack in a new blade that's been thinned it down a bit by buzzing it with a flap or linisher, then just cut through both skins at once. Gives perfect sizing with minimal weld gap without the need to precisely cut back to a line. Won't work if replacement panel differs in contour to much. 3) Having the corners with a radius rather than a sharp 90 deg also helps reduce distortion often experienced in corners.
BRO, AWWW COM'ON ! ........ "Im no fabricator"....... Yeeeh Naaaaaaa, Whatever Only maybe not as a professional yet the work appears well though out with attention to design detail and executed in a professional manner with the intended result achieved successfully. I've worked with some supposedly experienced professional guys in the autobody trade that couldn't anywhere near achieve tinwork like this, upside is they don't last too long. If this the first time with a full body build ya got a knack for it. I was real hesitant when I started to go madly chopping and changing shit, especially when someone elses car. ya just gota pull the trigger and keep ya eye on the goal a I just thought 'worst thing that could happen is I'll fuk it up' least then I'd know not to do it again. Still hesitant taking that first cut to anything though. NICE BUILD BRO.
