    Last year i took policy in care insurance. My dad got diagnosed and surgery completed, due to initial waiting period of 2 years i didnt apply for claim. 2weeks back i did renewal, and filled this new diagnosed surgery while renewal.once i submit, i got policy document with good health declaration under last year period.. Surgery not included in that policy document.. i requested care support throught email, no one is responding..No futher updation in document with surgery name..can u suggest what can i do on this??

      After issuance of a health insurance policy if any diseases are diagnosed then terms and conditions will remain the same hence declaration of an aliment is mandatory at the time of renewal.

      Sir i bought a policy in which i have to pay rs 100000 every year and i was told that i will get health insurance and my money also back and lock in period was of 5 year and now my 5 yrs are completing in feb 2025 . I paid only 1 premium so can i get money before the lock in period is over as i am in need of money urgently ​ @@insuranceseva

    Sir in health insurance we decleare PED in case we servive waiting period so why insurance company charge for ped, while we servive waiting period.

      While taking a health insurance policy with PED, Whether loading will be levied on your policy or not depends on what PED you are declaring while purchasing the health insurance policy.
      In some PED when insurer charge loading then the same diseases are covered from day one too.

    Sir old policies mai bhi applicable hai kya yeh ped ? National Insurance 2022 mai liya and 4 years ka ped tha. Abhi yeh 3 years hoga? And also moratorium 2022 ke according 2030 hai kya yeh 2027 tak hoga?

    Sir yah 5-years ka new moratorium rules customers ne April-2024 ke baad lenewale Policy par apply hai only ? Ya jo customers ki old Policy chal rahi hai usake upar bhi apply hai ?

    Sir I have a query, my father's age is 68 recently he got admitted for a week, his claim got rejected, since the nursing home had declared soduum fall as pre existing disease, after few days a letter came regarding discontinuation of policy due to non declaration of PED , policy was running for 3yrs, what should I do?

      Health insurance premium increases periodically due to two factors 1.Medical inflation 2.Increasing age, but not due to IRDAI regulation changes.

    Purchase under group insurance of public sector for retired employees.Was hospitalised and claim no. allotted for reimbursement of Cashless claim. Upon discharge insurer rejected claim in toto as don't require in patient treatment.However Doctor of reputed diabetic hospital opined continuos observation was required.Patient cannot risk against the advice of Senior doctor.Can we go to insurance Ombudsman since escalation matrix exhausted as rejected by their grievance Redressal forum.Suggest chances to succeed as amount is nearly a lakh for various investigation and MRI.

    3years back I took nivabupa reassure policy for my father and I mentioned pre existing diabetes and hypertension as pre existing diseases and got loading charges for that but after 3years ie after completing waiting period when I renewed the policy the column of pre existing disease in the document is showing as none when I called customer care they were saying that after waiting period pre existing disease will be shown in the document as none……Is it so please clarify as I don’t want to suffer during claim…please help

    सर ,मैं 63साल का हूं और मेरी वाइफ 59साल की।हम दोनो की पिछले 20साल से पांच पांच लाख की यूनाइटेड इंडिया से इंडिविजुअल हेल्थ इंश्योरेंस है।लास्ट ईयर हमारा दोनो का प्रीमियम 48000हजार था जो कंपनी ने बढ़ाकर 63000/ कर दिया है।पिछले पांच साल से हमने कोई क्लेम नहीं लिया है।दो साल पहले मेरा टीएमटी पॉजिटिव आया था लेकिन सीटी एंजिओ नॉर्मल आया।लेकिन मुझे कोई प्रोब्लम नही है।अप्रैल 2021 में मेरी वाइफ को सीजर हुआ था तब से वो एक टैबलेट क्लोबा 10mg ले रही है और उसकी EEG नॉर्मल है।क्या हम बिना किसी प्रोब्लम के ये पॉलिसी Niva Bupa में पोर्ट करा सकते हैं। रिन्यूअल की डेट 28मई है।
