i think one of the best examples of someone who understands tempo well is the streamer Pinkward as 90% of his plays are based around where the enemy is going to go andd setting up traps in that spot.
I don't really get this video or your explanation of tempo, which to me is not about how far forward you are on the map, but team pressure on objectives like the top tower dive. Forcing a reaction from the opposition - keeping them on the back foot. Being far into the enemy jungle is aggressive positioning, not necessarily tempo as your Ali clip showed. Lane swap is a great example of tempo. Also, 8:17 kindred has little vision in the enemy jungle and no idea where Nocturn is. Nocturn has ult up and Kindred has no flash. This would be a great way to lose tempo by dying in their jungle. That tempo is in the form of blue now having baron pressure, not how how far they can run into the enemy jungle.
It’s only aggressive positioning if you have the tempo to be there in the first place. Otherwise you’re out of position and/or inting. Then add the mini-buffs, CS, gold, and whatever other resources you start to control by being that far forward with tempo, on top of the map’s angles (high ground, low ground). You will have an advantage in these scenarios in an even game. Now if you end up behind (two deaths generally meaning you aren’t allowed to play until they make a mistake), this goes out the window and your aggressive positioning turns back into inting. Or like you mention, you can force a mistake to cause a throw or pull ahead.
Shouldn't tempo also be determined by the ability to create pressure too? Like if 1/8 nami is far into the dark jungle, she has no tempo, she's just an easy kill, right? So you can run somewhere fast, but if you didn't buy items before that, do you still have tempo or not?
Hmm, thinking about the ornn dive and the dragon taken, wouldn't you say the blue team misused their tempo instead of grouping for the dragon? I guess it could go both ways since it wasn't mentioned if the blue team was behind and purposefully chose to trade the dragon for the ornn dive.
That's the wonderful thing about league, at any given moment there are multiple correct decisions. Is 2 towers and a kill worth more than the dragon? That depends on so many factors and some people agree and some will disagree!
Hey Rogue, hope you doing well. Been evolving a lot watching your videos. Wanted to ask a quick question how it is supposed to freeze a wave and last hit the minions to zone the opponent if you have tiamat? When I play fiora i rush ravenous hydra therefore I get tiamat and in a winning lane sometimes I want to freeze to zone out the opponent because I'm winning but tiamat sinply does no allows me to do it. Either I get the xp and zone de opponent or get gold and xp but dont zone de opponent
that screen cap at 1:43 lmfao. saying ali is the furthest up on the map and has the most tempo right now is a bit of a stretch. loons to be like it’s samira lmfao. even the guy “coaching” gets this wrong. this is why coaching is so shit. it’s just players that think they know shit and talk without thinking but say it in a way where people don’t think of questioning it.
You've made yourself look really smart here man good job! (There is literally an exclaimer on the freeze frame saying that he is 'one of' the fastest lol)
disappointing for a "coach" but very honourable to show ur mistake tho. I think your problem is ur tempo understanding is a bit off, execution of great tempo building or tempo catchup is hard compare to just knowing theory and recognizing on vod is very true tho.
What I got from this video is if I have a tempo advantage I should play around other teammates with high tempo advantage to make plays
Pretty good take away honestly :)

weird, i always thoughts tempo means how far ahead i am, not physically on the map, but in terms of levels and gold.
Might have to watch this multiple times to understand it. I have an easier time understanding when you use the word 'initiative' instead of 'tempo'.
very good video
Great now all the low elo players will argue about tempo
Uneducated guess before watching the video (Also for theaughorithm): Recall timing with the boys, and vision dominance later on

Buy the other components then
This guy nailed it ^ don't buy timat, just buy a ton of longswords HAHAH
@@CoachRogue ohh so I need to do first the other components and then tiamat. Ok got it, tysm
Isn't tempo similar to prio. For example in laning phase if mid and bot gets prio they have the opportunity to start dragon (tempo)

@@LoLTerminus lol what a weird point
And why do you watch a 10min coaching video (or at least 2min of it) if you are against coaching 🤣
