@@resmarted , why do you say hes manic here? I cant think of anything brody on yt where he seems more in control. When hes manic, he gets provoked and argumentative. Hes not only in control of himself, he is very in touch with the crowd here. Maybe I missed a sign, but I have experience with mental illness. I get bent out of shape, kind of like brody, if I'm being too aggressive here, sorry, I dont mean it. But your comment, it seems inaccurate for sure. Unnecessary because there is not much to call manic there. And dismissive of brody and one of his most well moments in a high pressure situation and its call a result of mental illness? But I just want to say your wrong about the mania and depending on why you said it, you might be really mean too.

I admittedly was more intrigued with Brody than a fan, but this intrigue caused me to consume so much of his content over the past few years. Whether it was just his spots on Kill Tony or his own show, or his stand ups on UA-cam. Or even his drum lesson on his own UA-cam page.
His depression/mental illness really made me drawn to him, but it always made me a little bit uneasy. Every few months, I would always check UA-cam for some Brody content, just hoping that he would still have something going on. I just always had this bad feeling and kinda “checked up” on him, as stupid as that sounds. I guess it’s because I have struggled with depression in the past and can relate.
There was always something real about him that came out. Like - when he got emotional and played it off as a joke, it felt visceral and real. Kind of like nobody understood him, but I think that is what made him so unique.
I’ve heard many times before that he was the comic that other comics loved. He would be the one to make them all laugh when their peers’ acts were getting old. That in itself is such a cool thing! RIP Brody

Just discovered Brody today. This was heart and soul comedy. Just like Lenny Bruce you died from a lack of understanding and that is a tragedy. This set was perfect in every way and a masterclass for aspirating comedians everywhere. If anyone has to leave something behind then laughter is the best thing to leave. Comedy gold. RIP Brody we give you love and eternal positivity.

    • @junegiovanni6475

He was in pain and was suffering from severe depression. Its not about quiting it's about not being happy, and suffering from horrible demoralizing pain that you can't comprehend unless you have severe depression or bi-polar, CCT, he wasn't happy and dying deep inside, its a horrible dark feeling of loneliness and pain. Just know that even if you can't physically see him, he is no longer in pain anymore and releaved and happier and all that pain and hurt is gone, he is in a much better place than the living. He is now making the afterlife laugh. He was too good for this world. He had a mental diease that is hard for people to understand, they seem happy and normal to us in the world and look so positive in person but deep inside they are crying and dying, you never know what a person is going through, all they need is love, and a hug, and someone who will be there and tell him or her they are worth so much. It mite fall on death ears but at least they know that you care. Just put your hands around them and tell them, I'm sorry you're in pain, I'm here buddy, everything will be okay, and you love them. Ask them to call you and tell them if they need to talk, you are here. They need that, but their pain mite be so severe they will leave us regardless...just love them well their here.

June giovani NO! Get that shit out of here! I am all for free speech, but you shouldn't be saying that shit. He did quit, he was a coward, and it's still sad. My best friend almost killed himself, but because we were firm with him, we saved his life.
