I'm in Virginia, USA, and I just now finished breakfast, the first two dishes in this video. OMG. Wonderful, intense flavor, and very satisfying. Delicious. My avocados weren't ripe. so I used frozen avocado chunks (thawed first). I forgot to cut up olives so I scooped out some capers instead. I didn't have herbs so I just skipped that. And still it was fantastic. What a wonderful way to make the most out of an egg, especially now that they cost more. I can't wait to try the rest of her recipes! And I can't wait to try these again after I buy the right ingredients!

My gf and I used the first recipe as the first meal her and I have ever cooked together. Her whole family loved it. If someone isn't a fan of sausage, replace it with hotdogs. We forgot to use parmasean cheese, but it still came out amazing. HUGE ADVICE: Try it with syrup. It sets off flavors big time. Also I used slices cheddar cheese which was a bit much. Try another cheese or try shredded cheese if the slices are too much for ya :> Overall amazing recipe. Thank you!

Albeit some slight different ingredients, these are some of the same foods I grew up on country style. (Or Appalachian) With the sausage and bread we call "pigs in a blanket" With the egg in the center of a slice of bread we call "eggs in a nest" and with the potatoes, we call "Johnny cakes". Amazing the similarities between cultures. Thanks for the ideas. ;)

Sometimes called "hillbillies" or "back water", they are a people who farm and live off of the land. Steeped in tradition, it's also where American folk music originated. Check out the documentary "Down from the mountains" . A great story about early Americana.

As for the mountains themselves: From the time of the Acadian mountain-building event until the Triassic, the Appalachians were continuous with the Caledonide Mountains of northwestern Europe and Greenland. The mountains themselves were joined together in a single supercontinent surrounded by a single ocean.
