General pong krell possibly knew too he said that the Jedi order would fall from the inside and would birth a new order he looked up to dooku and was one of the reason he fell to the darkside
I'd argue that Krell only had a general idea of what was going to happen, and that almost all of the Jedi would destroyed, but he didn't know how or any of the details
@@4137Swords yes he didn’t fully know but he was correct about the order being destroyed from the inside and it would become something else after it he was playing with darkside anyway and it’s still weird how it’s never been explained really why he hated clones besides him looking at them as droids

I like to believe that Fives is the reason that Palpatine stopped using the clones after Order 66. He was so close to ruining it all.
It was more or less a tease because of how close he got to exposing the truth only to be killed. Kind of like how Count D told Kenobi that the republic was under the control of a dark lord of the sith but because the jedi have absolutist views of the sith he didn’t believe dooku. Which means Sidious was able to simultaneously replace dooku with a younger stronger apprentice while also shutting up the only leak who could have ruined his plans.
I feel like Yoda was at the point where he just accepted the impending fate of the Jedi Order and trusted in the will of the Force, hoping that a new hope would emerge to correct their past mistakes and bring about a new Jedi Order... (of course that task was supposed to fall to Luke, but the sequels mucked it all up lol)
Lol that’s the problem with the Jedi they hoped something would come and fix the problem they created by being just plain stupid instead of banding together to face anakin and idk tell him about padme and the kids they all went into exile because Jedi make mess and then hide in shame

He said it in the last episode of the original Clone Wars (s6), that they had already lost to the Siths, but that there was a way to win in a larger scale.
I believe Sifo dyas knew a little about the order as he had a vision about the fall of the Jedi, if I’m not mistaken. Also Qui gon knew of the order as he knew how the clone wars would end after he became one with the force.
Yoda could've prevented it all, but chose not to until it was too late.
Well it had to happen. The Jedi order was corrupt, it had to fall and Yoda knew it.

Jar Jar knew of order 66 hence why he conveniently ran into the Jedi and basically made it to where he was to do as they say cause they saved his life. Knowing he could be the spy for palpatine

The Jedi arrogance and hubris lead them down this path. Fives tried telling them, The situations with asokas, the Jedi was quick to turn on each other, quick to show there morality, and just plain fools… Asoka should’ve been cherished by the order, Anakin could’ve been lead down a proper road if the Jedi just knew how to train him, a orphan slave who just wanted a father figure to say good job kid, keep it up ande not be so critical all the time.

They still would have either tried to one final attack to take out sidous but end up failing and be forced into hiding after mass death or immediately go into mass hiding to prevent extinction eventually linking up with the rebel after bleeding jedi throughout the years due to vader

How known were all 150 Contingency Orders prior to execution of 66? The Republic Commando series has Delta and Omega Squads bickering about having to memorise each and every one, some to the point of reciting them. **SPOILER ALERT** Neither Commando Squad actually obeyed. They willfully ignored the order blasting in their helmets, and even attempted to aid their escape.

The idea that the Jedi Council knew of a version of Order 66 to be used if a Jedi went rogue has been around forever... well, since Revenge of the Sith came out anyway. They either didn't check the fine print, or they were too distracted to catch that once Palpatine was given authority over the Jedi, he, or Sidious (who they believed was part of his inner circle by then) could issue the order rather than the Council
They actually almost caught palpatine, they connected some dots and found out the sith lord lived in Palpatines apartment building. One of the reasons Palpatine told grievous to attack Corusaunt is because of the jedi’s investigation of Palpatines building. (The other reason is probably because he didn’t want Anakin to fall in to Mauls trap on Mandalore)

As you may know, following on from that, in the novelisation of Revenge of the Sith Obi-Wan actually tells Anakin that's why the Council want him to spy on Palpatine - that they think Sidious is one of his advisors and that is who they want Anakin to unmask

They knew that Sidious was playing both sides of the war 3. Obi Wan and Anakin learned Count Dooku = Darth Tyranus and that Darth Tyranus killed Sifo Dyas 4. They either knew the sith created the clones or the sith played a role in creating the clones 5. Windu says: “the dark side of the force surrounds the chancellor” 6. They knew the dark lord frequently visited or lived Palpatines apartment building 7. Fives tells Obi Wan and Anakin of the plot to destroy the jedi with the clones 8. The jedi knew of the clone contingency orders (including order 66)…. With all that evidence they only began to sus him with a few days left in the clone war? If Ahsoka just told the jedi that Maul said “me and dooku are the same, one step behind” and “Anakin is being groomed as Sidious’s next apprentice” the jedi would instantly know its Palpatine

Im surprised how many people knew about the plot. Seems like it would have been way more hush hush.
If this video is to be believed only about 12 people in the entire galaxy knew, and of them most only had bit’s and pieces of how the order would actually take place. This is comparable to the Manhattan Project in real life, which only a handful of people knew about before the bomb was dropped on Japan.

I was about to type that but you got before me.
While the dark side could be felt around Palpatine, the jedi wouldn't risk moving in and thinking they grabbed the wrong person just to get backstabbed. Hence why Anakin was allowed to get so close, so the order could learn which person was really the Sith Lord.
I don't think Palpatine told anyone about order 66. Yes Amedda and Pestage knew he was the dark lord but I don't think he divulged his plans to others.

It was the only way for Anakin to bring balance to the force. Before Anakin could destroy the sith he had to become one. This would only happen if the Jedi had been wiped out. Also Yoda knowing was after the fact in clone wars which came out after revenge of the sith making him know a retcon and unable to stop it due to order 66 happening in canon

Yoda did not know all the details, it was a force vision, he couldn't immediately show his hand to sidious, and the outer rim seiges started not long after.

Edit: When George created Revenge of the Sith at the time he didn’t write it with Yoda having seen force visions. Yoda seeing the force visions in the clone wars was a retcon. If you can’t understand this I’m sorry for your lack of cognitive ability and understanding.
