I doubt you need to sand the wheels. Just get acid wheel cleaner from good stuff and will lift it
Luke, order Bilt hamber auto wheel and corrosol for the wheels. It’s absolutely amazing stuff. Not too expensive either!

Have you checked the rear under footwell storage boxes. Kuga’s are terrible for water leaks.
The little silver bits on the top edge of the wings, they slide, just push them forward

As people have commented, there are better more aggressive products to clean the front wheels before you go sanding.

Try some wheel acid. Dilute it down if need be
Yes do this! Don't touch with sand paper. An acidic wheel cleaner will do a lot. Just follow the instructions. New centre caps would make it look good too
Hi Have you got water in the boot as a lot of them get that.
Yeah I have, I'm trying to figure where it's coming in. Must be a bad seal or something.
