I find an application bottle & a cotton wool pad soaked in tar remover works a treat on requires 2 fingers & light pressure to remove the tar easily What was that that flew off the car around the 12.30 - 12.40 mark?
Haha, this is the exact same car I have, it’s my first car! Same colour, same number of doors and it’s also a splash. It’s really difficult to clean because of all the nooks and crannies. Very good video though mate

You're a big guy or this car is really that small? Here in Brazil we have C3, C4 and rarely C5, beside the DS's. Been in Paris in 2018 but didn't notice was so small! Nice video !

is 27,000 miles a lot for a car in the UK? i drive a 2014 car and I've put about 102,000 miles on it since then, which is slightly over the average milage for a US car per year (my 14,500 vs avg. 13,400 US)

Really like the glass cleaner and the shampoo is pretty good to. Iron reactor was quite strong as well. My only issue is the snow foam and that you need 200ml in a bottle. Apart from that its a great pack of nearly everything you need. And with £5 off when using paul5 what more could you want?

The rear wipers are flimsy on these cars. When I had my Peugeot 107 the guy in the hand car wash accidentally broke the arm of it and didn't tell me until I got home

Be it a wiper or a scuttle panel, or the flaps... But wait that's Toyota. So now, it's be very good! LOL 😂 It's not a coincidence that most of the "issues" these model had was from the Asian side of the project! Rather surprising to many, I guess! ;-) All in all the fact remain, that either on the European or the Asian side of the project they both accepted the cheaper the better! Very far from the old Peugeot 106 where quality was still pretty reasonable for a cheap car!
Hi Paul, great informative video m8, on the point of wheel arches, my skoda octavia has arches that are carpet lined, any tips on cleaning these, the rest of the car I can keep nice and clean but these arches are a pain in the arse 😜

That one got a fresh appeal to it compared to a car in Sweden after 1000km on a winter highway.. Tar, salt road spray gets any car look like shit.. You need so much stuff to get it clean again... And if the stuff is environmental friendly it does a not so great job.. The worse stuff the better effect.

Cracking video as always Paul. Having a Citroen myself I can entirely agree how the front grill is such a pain in the a**e to clean and dress. Also like your common sense approach regarding pressure washing the car first to get the worst of the muck off.

Great video but I do wonder if there are too many products going on and cleaning a car regularly with a decent shampoo with wax would achieve the same results and would love to see a comparison of two cars over a period of many months

Incredible job detailing that thing. However a car like that is so unassuming that it doesn't matter whether it's filthy or clean as a whistle because most people will never pay it any attention either way.

EZ Arch brush looks like a bog brush and just keep rinsing out the carpet

Have you ever tried the Williams wash & wax which gets rave reviews or do you think it's a waste of time?
