There are multiple car detailing channels around. Some of them are actually quite interesting, some seem to me like "too prepared" and some are outright fakes. None of them, however, can hold a candle to this Scottish dude. A million subscribers or not.
Toby 💯 agree with you.
I agree. I detail a lot of vehicles in my personal life, and no other channel seems to accurately capture a good all-round detail on a filthy car. Some, as you said, just seem like they're trying too hard, or are clearly not as expert as they claim to be. Autoshine Blackpool has always shown that he's a true professional.
@Kaif Din This channel isn't about 'detailing' - its about valeting (or cleaning) cars properly.
How to become a YT car "detailer": -buy an extractor and a rotary brush for a drill
- throw some dirt and twigs under the seats and in the back for good measure
- do a normal car wash
- focus waaaaaaay to much on extracting from the carpets
- call it detailing without detailing anything

Having a beer with this man is on my bucket list. One of my favorite detailers on UA-cam!
Love your technique and commentary! Insane transformation as always
Funny that I was watching one of your videos the other day and noticed your channel growth. Well done mate
Love you both
You two are really into the "trashed car transformation" business and I thoroughly enjoy the content from both of you!
I watch your channel too, both are fabulous but I'm in love with Moose so Gary comes out in first place :)
@@autoshineblackpool I watch you both, both my favourites. Keep up the great work, both of you.
Auto captions start with “honey guys in girdles”.. man your accent brings me back to this channel every time. Love it
I knowwwwwwwww, cracks me up!
Gurls
To me this accent is perfectly normal and I hear it, and its variants, every day - but then, I live in Scotland!
You know i can't understand this man, i'm a Polish 16 yo, i watch mainly american content and i Cannot understand this man:))
Moose developed some impressive camera skills there
something’s been bothering me for a while now and i really need to get it off my chest: PUT THE BOLTS FOR THE SEATS SOMEWHERE SAFE.
Even if I was trading my car in I wouldn’t dream of taking it too the dealer in such poor condition
Exactly, but I suspect the dealer knows its value and probably won't give you as much money extra as a real valet like this would cost.
Crs 92 Exactly! Each time I’ve traded a car in for the next one I always took the time for a basic cleaning and a trip through the wash to get it at least looking decent, every dollar in trade value helps. I can’t help but think that some of these get a mere pittance at the dealer, and get dumped at the auto auction, leaving it to people like this one to bring them back to life.
Repo!
I used to have to valet the cars that came in part ex and I can tell u not many people actually clean them before part ex'ing that's for sure
why do I always feel like I want to buy every single car you clean?
Why do I feel like going out and cleaning my car lol

Hello from No Toliet Paper anywhere USA. Hubby watching wrestling with no fans, and I'm watching my favorite Scot in Blackpool.
Here's a reply from No Toilet Paper Australia
@@Vacublaster1 Thanks Mate, I guess people don't remember being a baby in cloth diapers or using the Sears and Roebuck catalog when going to the outhouse (privy) back in the day here in the deep South USA
What a world we live in. 😉
My brother was hilarious I showed him your videos and next day he was on about taking his seats out so he could give a proper clean 😂 was fucking snowing 🌨
Let’s just appreciate the joy from these videos. With pandemic and lack of loo rolls it’s nice to have something decent to watch
I cant believe how much depth you go into cleaning the cars. Removing the seats etc. Well done. Good to see you take pride in your work.
I have the same exact car and this is so satisfying to watch! For a 18 yrs old car it's really in good shape. The paint is still reasonably shiny, the headlights are nearly perfect and the interior are still intact. Mine cooked for 18 years under the sun and I had to replace the headlights, polish the paint and every time I touch some plastics it breaks under my fingers.
This little Fiesta is really in amazing shape, I bet it has less than 100k miles and she was always ketp inside a garage. Enjoyed massively!
If you still park your car directly under the sun, try cracking a window open on sunny days, 5mm will do. Get wind deflectors then you don't have to worry about people breaking in or rain getting in
Best car clean channel on UA-cam, totally watchable, start to finish!
I passed my test last week at age 44, looking for a cheap runaround, wish I had your skills or lived 150 miles closer to Blackpool.
Stunning transformation as always.
And my kids love it whenever you say ‘Disgusteng’
Love the videos! Just a recommendation- Filling the extractor with plain water will help dilute the soap that was already sprayed on the carpets and lead to less suds and product left over
Watched a lot of your videos. Today I changed the way I wash my car, wheels first door shuts, all following your methods. Results were so good my other half took a photo of her car. Thanks for all your tutorials.
Glad to help 😊
It came about very quickly before they identified it. We are in our 70s and so are staying at home for awhile. We really aren't bothered by that and are enjoying our time together. And I get to watch a lot of my favorite UA-camrs!!!
Keep safe everyone and you Gary are a great morale booster in these awkward times, just keep on doing what you’re doing 👌
Dude, i just love your videos. Motivates me every time to go out and clean my old suzuki. Thx man!
It always amazes me how you take something from looking old and rundown to practically new and purchase worthy. Hope you get a good profit on this one!
Hi I love watching these videos, it takes my mind off the recent news and worry. Keep it up mate!!
This guys works always top quality, He prides himself at what he does, Thoroughly enjoy watching every video 👌🏼
Sir there is something very satisfying in seeing you bring a dirty vehicle back to pristine condition, you are truly a master of your trade .I always enjoy the content of your videos so I hope you will keep making them ,there is non better anywhere as far as I'm concerned keep clear of that wicked virus and all the best for you in the future
You do it best. I've seen other channels clean extremely dirty cars and some remove the front seats only. I mean how can they only do that especially when you see how dirty the bottom of the back seats can be. This is why I love this channel. You do everything properly and thoroughly.
You are the best car detailing UA-cam channel ever, and I’ve watched a lot! So satisfying and thorough, as well as the awesome accent :)
As a 2008 Ford Fiesta owner. I love these cars and they are great fun to drive. For a small car they are nice. Great video. Your attention to detail is amazing.
Thank you, fantastic stuff! I always look forward to your new videos: they're brilliant!
Fantastic job as always! I am also thrilled to see a new video. Best car detailer on UA-cam.
What a difference a proper clean makes -- super satisfying vid as always!!
Everytime I see one of your vids it makes me go to the garage after and clean my '94 Peugeot 205 :)
Great video. So nice seeing a neglected car brought back to a decent condition. Top quality work. Subbed 👍
Great Job !! many people have no idea how hard this work is
You’re videos are by far the best and most entertaining on UA-cam... you’re great at your job... and great music too fella 👍👍
You have a big heart sir...God is listening and big thanks hope your channel hits the million!,
Love, love, love this detailing!!!!! Excellent editing and awsome music choice!!!!! 😉😉😉😉😉😉😉
Just started watching... Had to pause it and say that it's definitely going to be like a different car at the end... Your vids are so class 😄👍.. Right.. I'm going to enjoy this 🤣
Good job as always looking awesome. Good to hear some of the old tunes again too 😁
Mine was still clean after 12 years. Love to see state of their houses.
The best of all of the car cleaning channels out there and yes, I refuse to use the word detail. It’s cleaning a car, period.
I always enjoy your detailing. You're the only detailer I know who cleans the engine as well! I would recommend that the same music playing for all your videos could be "dumped." Just the sound of the vacuum, extractor, steamer, etc. is preferable. THANKS!
Great video. It's so nice to see such thoroughness. Be careful breathing in all of those cleaning product fumes though - some of that stuff is really bad to breathe.
Young man I am surprised that by now you do not have at least 250k subs, you and your vids are awesome! Period!! Myself and my wife were ill in November with what has to be the worst case (for me anyway) of flu like symptoms, or what I assumed were flu like, I had to go to the local store for food, it was proper winter weather, people out in their big coats and hats, I walked along with a t-shirt dripping with sweat, had to stand and pay at the cashier while sweat ran down my face drippingonto the floor, could not get out of there quick enough... awful ! Keep well sir, you and your family. More vids required to get me through these covid-19 blues!
Top job as always. So good to watch and learn from you. 👌🏼
Incredible transformation I just couldn’t believe how well the car turned out in the end.
Great work as per usual, always interesting to see the products you use, I have already purchased the Kwazar sprayers.
Hope new house is welcoming you?
Great vlog and tunes, thanks for sharing.
There's something so satisfying about thh before and after of this video.. great upload.
I really never thought that a 30 minute video of car detailing could be so relaxing to watch?!🤔.....
I'm always amazed at how resilient interior materials are. A life times worth of 'abuse' and they clean up like new!
I really like the music you play on this channel during the interludes....it is the type of music i imagine people on housing benefits listen to on Friday night.
Brill video! I’ve 5 mk6 Fiestas and needed this bit of inspiration to get me going again 👍
I own a 88 ford Fiesta and I love seeing any Fiesta getting love since you don't see many of them anymore.
Too true retro86
I had a Fiesta like this - I had the Ghia model with leather seats. Seeing this car brings back the good memories. Loved that car.
Great video editing and production. Really good music. Super well done.
Love your style and great job on this one as always. Looking forward to the next vid. AFA Covid-19, here in the states there has been a LOT of panic buying of domestic essentials; toilet paper, analgesics, water, disinfectants, etc. I wasn't buying into the early statements of preparedness, but there have been some pretty unprecedented things that have happened lately that makes me wonder if it's more serious than initially thought.
This was an intriguing question you asked! I come from a health care background. I have a degree in it, my mum is a nurse, I have other family members who are doctors and work in other capacities of health care. For me I felt the exact same way you expressed - it may just be a quick scare and then it will go away. As time has progressed, many have died, the rate of infection is quite severe, and now sports events and schools are cancelled. Never in my lifetime has such a reaction been ensued because of a virus. For me, I am a mysophobe so germs truly scare me. I would normally have an anxiety attack, but I did my research.. it's scary but there's also the pragmatic side of me that understands how to control the spread of germs. Corona virus has been around for some time. The reason it already had a name was because it was identified and studied by scientists before. This particular strain is a puzzle yet to be solved. We don't know much about it just yet in the science world. For this reason there are many who are on high alert, some are panicked, some are not bothered etc. We just have to remain calm and use common sense. When you're stressed your immune system is weakened. So, just another reason to be cautious but not overly excited and overreacting. I have high hopes that all will be well soon. We all must do our part and then good results will follow. Thanks for your question, I don't always answer but I do listen each time you present us with a question and I do think of my own thoughts and feelings on the subjects you cover. The car went from drab to fab. I can only imagine how smelly the stench was! You did an excellent job! Well done and thank you for helping us all be inspired to be more clean and tidy. P.S. Sorry this was a very long response.
That was a great response. Thanks for taking the time to type it. 😊
Another quality video and a brilliant result. I always look forward to more videos when the current one ends 💯😂
Brilliant upload, been waiting ages, best detailer on the toob, and your a fellow Scot, always a top top job, i know where my cars going for a treat , and its hard graft cleaning to this exceptional standard, value for money no question, cleaning value into some right smelly motors, and Moose getting a wee look in, love that dog
Another good clean. Wish you were local, love to get a deep clean on our cars like that.
I love your videos and your content. I especially like the music you pick for these videos!
Really great job! Wish i could find a valet round hear that would clean as well as you. Thank you for showing how you clean so well
Having just bought a Fiesta similar to this I am inspired ! cheers for all the tips.
It's September and I've just got round to watching this. The day you published this was the day we opened our incident control centre at the hospital where I work and it went bananas shortly thereafter; hence my delay watching my usual UA-camrs.
Excellent video m8, watched it all through, you've inspired me to wash and clean my new first car ive had for about a month. A 2009 ford fiesta Titanium.
I just need to buy various bits and bobs to do so.
I think watching the steamer at work is one of my favourite things. It sanitizes everything nicely and I love it. Great job with this spectacularly dirty interior. My little one picked up the corona virus at school. So far he’s doing alright but we’re all on self quarantine at home in case he passes it on to us.
Oh dear. Hope he gets better soon. I work in a school and am worried about this bug.
Superb 👏👏👏👏 nothing beats seeing an absolutely buzzing car get a good deep clean. That's probably cleaner than when it left the dealership when it was brand new 😂
Keep up the good work 💪
Great video as my son has just bought his first car Fiesta Zetec ,now he knows what to do
Tremendous work ethic and attention to detail.
Another clean car, great video! Take it easy pal.
Some worrying times ahead but no need to panic!
Great vids great job as always! Spent time in Blackpool year’s ago lots of fun!
Welcome back and so happy to hear your voice again 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
You can clean my car whenever you want dude!! What a wonderful work u do with the cars!
Thumps up 👍👍
I was given my mum's Fiesta Mk6.
It's the poverty-spec Finesse model but still has far more kit than I'd expect from a base-level Fiesta (remembering the Popular from the early-mid) '80s: ABS, central locking, rev counter, elec. boot release, CD player, 4 speakers, PAS.
It drives really well and is big enough to get a washing machine in the back when you need to !
I also have a '99 M5 but the Fiesta is a brilliant town car that attracts no attention at all.
Dude, what a great work you done! I like your video, because i have mk5 Ford Fiesta, and am gonna clean it out, like you. Good luck.
Wow just Wow Fiesta Looks ace even without buff, I came in to see you a couple of weeks ago with my Focus about a Clay and a Buff and you mentioned that Silver cars don't shine that well but thats looks ace. Cant wait to let you loose on mine with a buff up.
I love your work ethic, you are so thorough on every car and you always do a fantastic job - well done, sir. My wife often catches me watching your vids and says, "You watching your car cleaning man again"?? I think I might have a form of cleaning OCD ;)
I think you're videos are great always looking forward to new ones.
Love this channel. As for the coronavirus. Most of us will probably catch it and be perfectly fine, but some won’t be fine and they will die as is already happening. For the sake of those who could die, we all need to be more cautious and follow the rules and guidelines. I work in a care home in Kent and if that virus got in, we would probably loose 70% if them. That’s no joke. And we are doing all we can to be extra careful. Which we are normally anyway. Well done for bringing up something important. Look forward to the next one. X
I hardly think "most" of us will catch it! There have been fewer than 800 cases in the UK in 6 weeks and official sources say it's set to peak in June. If people heed advice and take sensible precautions we will be fine. It does make me wonder though why no one is panicking about the (statistically speaking) 2000 people who will have died of flu or the 3,500 who will have died of pneumonia in the same period - and that's just picking 2 of the many potentially fatal diseases/conditions that exist.
The Slider, I meant that most of those who get it won’t die. I made a written error. As for why we don’t panic about everything else, some of it could be down to the fact it’s new and unknown. Mostly the reason to be more concerned rather than panic is because this virus is more deadlier than flu, spreads quicker, there are no vaccines, there is no natural immunity yet, experts fear it will mutate, and we are not ready for it, the hospitals are already full etc etc. Being concerned and cautious is a good thing. Because one day there will be a outbreak of something terrible and deadly and not acting fast enough will be the reason why it becomes something deadly to us all world wide.
@@chloe071207 I think the main reason people are panicking is down to the media - same with everything, ie global warming. Funny we haven't heard from St Greta in the past few weeks 🤔
Coronavirus is deadlier than flu? In 1918 up to 100 million people died of Spanish Flu and even now over half a million die of flu every single year. And that's just flu. Even more die from pneumonia.
People most at risk of dying from coronavirus are the elderly with underlying medical conditions - and that demographic is more susceptible to many illnesses and conditions. Those are the people we need to protect. For my part I follow good personal hygiene protocols and I don't touch people unnecessarily - under those circumstances the chances of getting coronavirus are minute. And if I did contract it I would follow the advice of the chief medical officer - DON'T go to hospital, DON'T go to a GP and self isolate for 7 days. Does that sound serious to you?
The Slider yes this virus is deadlier than flu. It kills more of those who catch it than the flu so far it seems. You can’t compare numbers when this virus has only been around 5 mins. And as has already been established, no it’s not serious to you and I, but could be for many others so don’t get what your last point even means. I’m done with this convo now mate. I can already see where this is going. See ya. 👍
@@chloe071207 We'll see how it pans out but the advice of the government for those infected is to stay indoors - basically do nothing. Does that sound apocalyptic?
Love these videos. This channel has better content than some other channels who boast over 2 million subscribers. I have a 2006 Fiesta and I will be hoping to give her a detail that rivals this 😂
Working from home now. Two of our offices have positive cases. Stay safe and be well.
Yes, I agree! The channel that cleans cars properly!
You and Moose did a great job on this one! No corona in my small Texas town yet!

Love your videos so much and I've learned alot and its started to lead me on through my life of detailing but for the love of god when your finished the interior turn the headlight leveling switch back to down to 0 instead of leaving it on 4🤣🤣looking forward to the next video!
Nice job, you did a awesome job on it. Moose looking cute as well. 👍👍👍👍👍
Amazing video!! The Best Detallier!!! Keep Going Ever !!
My dude ! please tell me where you get your playlist from ? By far the channel with the best music scenes.
Had the flu 4 years ago and nearly died. My body was closing down. This new virus won't be contained regardless. The panic buying is p*ssing me off. Apart from that all I can say is may your god go with you and hope it passes without too much devastation.
The damn Corona virus fcked a LOT of thing up, period! Cheers for the Fiesta video. I had a Ford Fiesta like that for 12 years, and it only broke down on me once. I absolutely loved the little car, can't explain why i sold it.
I love your videos and you do a great job of cleaning up those cars 🚙!
This is what mine looked like when I got it. It's a 2006 fiesta mk6 1.25i in Octane Blue and I spent 4 days removing the smell of dope, cigarettes and sweat. Now, it's a fantastic little car to drive.
As you extracted the water from the seats you could see the pattern appear , they look so much better in contrast. It must smell great now.
thanks for the interior clean Gary,,,,,,,,looks and smells amazing.....
Lovely Jubbly, nice wee turnaround Mr Scottie.
Yak you deserve a medal well done mate.
Had one of these a few moons ago now. Great little car. Looks great 👍
Man at first it didn’t look to bad, but the dirt was really imbedded in this one. Looks great! As always. Virus scares the crap out of me, but only because I have a compromised immune system. It feels different this time.
