    Fire video. NGL.
This helps me with something totally unrelated, but it helps.
One point that stood out to me is the idea to collab with space-owners in a 3 way win win.

Especually to your point on scarcity - I started telling clients and implenting what you mentioned in this video and in many others before this... Ive definitley opened up more time for myself and gotten more bookings since theres more of a CTA to book asap, thanks as always Chris & team!

I recently decided to lease a smaller studio space for this very reason. I feel like I'm going to better off forming a small tribe than trying to create huge events.

My Q: we are organizing a co-living experience in Southern Europe. This means, we gonna rent a mansion to live for two weeks. We will only sell limited units (tickets) and want to SELECT the best participants. Our program includes brainstorming for the future co-living experience. How would you promote the event to get the most potential participants? The demographics of the audience is 50+ women (high end). We have the audience in a container and the tactic is a newsletter.

@@thefutur Yes. Almost like a podcast (or getting on a podcast). I may be way off...but I have a SaaS startup. Our ideal client would be 'local businesses' who would likely attend local networking meetups and business card exchanges. The thought being, these attendees would likely be our ideal customer avatar.

Encouraging and leading commitment sounds like a great plan, but creating artificial scarcity seems increasingly risky to me, especially with a smart target audience. The big players are using so much FOMO on everything, that I'm immediately and eternally turned off by that kind of manipulation. I'm probably not the only one, who's sick of it and gets alienated from a brand, that tries to do me dirty like that.

@@thefutur I was very pleasantly surprised to see that you had invited Robert Katai - a compatriot of mine. To my shame, I did not know him. Because I'm not active in the marketing area...I work in a multinational firm, working mostly with numbers..excel . :) But I want to teach a course to Romanian high school students. And I want to apply everything I learn as soon as possible. So since I've been following you, my vision of a business/personal project/ life has completely changed by improving my knowledge. 🙌🙌🙌

The theft of the Mona Lisa is a prime example of how scarcity can dramatically increase the perceived value of an item. This incident is a classic case study in the marketing strategy of scarcity.

Pretty sure you'd like a response from The Futur, but in my experience doing small free workshops,
You can definitely learn a bunch from teachers,
      Take Vinh Giang for example,
but ultimately, speaking is a muscle-like skill.
It gets better the more you do it.
      ...
      When I felt intimidated, I did trials/tests
      + by myself
+ with a friend - who understands the field
+ with a friend who isn't in the field - even better if they are field exoerts then I get pure feedback that isn't too hung up on the technical info, and they can more comfortably sag
"bro, I don't understand that" when I'm being too complex
      .....
      Long story short
      Learn a little
      Practice more
      Test
      Eat feedback for dinner

@@iamthekaverik Thank you! I feel the same way. Practice. I am very lucky to have someone with a lot of experience who asked to do workshops together. I am thinking of taking a course in presenting with a retired Dutch news ancor Jan de Hoop, who is famous for a natural way of presenting.

Of course some videos hit, while others don't. We don't make content for virality but for education. We also pivoted our content from design into business so our audince over the 10 years has changed.

The video discusses two main principles of scarcity:
Controlling supply: This means limiting the number of tickets or seats available for an event, even if you could sell more. This creates a sense of urgency and demand, as people will be more likely to buy tickets if they think they might miss out.
Signaling demand: This means announcing an event before it's officially open for registration, and allowing people to express interest. This helps to build anticipation and excitement, and can also help you to gauge interest levels.
The video also provides some practical tips for implementing these principles, such as:
Underselling the event: This means limiting the number of tickets or seats available to create a sense of scarcity.
Creating a waitlist: This allows people to express interest in an event even if it is sold out, and can help to build anticipation.
Announcing the event early: This allows people to start thinking about the event and getting excited about it.
Using social media to promote the event: This can help to reach a wider audience and generate interest.
Partnering with other businesses: This can help to promote the event to a new audience and generate additional buzz.
Overall, the video provides some valuable insights into how to use scarcity to promote an event. By following these tips, you can create a sense of urgency and demand, which can help you to sell more tickets and generate more buzz for your event.
Here are some additional points from the video:
The importance of knowing your audience: It is important to understand who your target audience is and what they are looking for in an event. This will help you to tailor your marketing efforts and create an event that is appealing to them.
The importance of being flexible: It is important to be flexible and willing to adjust your plans as needed. This could include changing the date or time of the event, or adding or removing features.
The importance of having fun: Events should be enjoyable for both the attendees and the organizers. By creating a fun and engaging experience, you can help to build goodwill and create repeat customers.
