This point could be solved with better morals, ethics and genuine compassion and understanding, for ourselves and others, on a basic level (should already be there frankly...) I think the more important idea here is why doesn't it feel like that already? Why doesn't our system seem to work as it is? Maybe your right and people aren't meant to be in groups, cities and societies as big as we are. Maybe it's a simple as shift in perception uknow
@aqua_ofs yeah i think it goes all the way back to when we used be live in lil tribes consisting of a few dozen people. Humans just havent evolved to live how we do now which is probably for the most part why it doesnt work. The more people involved the less tight knited it becomes. People only care and have compasion for whats theirs The society today could work better if people had more freedom and money so that they could at least thrive doing whatever they like to do. That would take the edge off and things in general should become just nicer and less hostile. Kinda how it is in more wealthy neighbourhoods if you ever took a walk down one of those. So i think maybe more of a free market and decentralized economy would solve alot of the problems we got today with power and wealth distribution. Crypto currency is a good step towards that because it automatically removes the entire banking system and inflation. Its also peer to peer. Dunno man its a complex problem.
All of the that is more of the same though. Let's look at some of the fundamental problems with the system as whole right? Imo that's money and people ego and perception of the world. If those change first I think most of the rest would fall into place. Crypto's still currency and money leads to greed, power and control. Not always but most of the time. People, ego and how we behave/act towards each other are more important then money or economy. The people make the system go...no people, no system uknow
@@aqua_ofs currency itself is fine as all it does is make trade easier, faster and all that. Fiat currency (us dolar, euro etc) is garbage as its inflatable which contributed to power imbalances. If it wasnt for fiat we would still be able to buy houses for $3k after saving for 3 years while the wife stays at home and cares for both you and the kids, which fixes the entire family dynamic singlehandedly. I think that could also fix the problem of all products declining in quality as well as food. Because if the common person could actually afford then food wouldnt have to be made impossibly cheap with fake and shit ingredients. That would help with the health problems and record high cancer amd chronic sickness. The biggest problem in todays society is dogshit goverment and all their branches which are EXTREMELY overpowered. How did all that form, i dont know tbh. This is why we have so many laws and regulations that make everything either too expensive making whatever youre trying to do impossible, or just outright impossible because its illegal for no decent reason. This is where my point about a free and decentralized market would be nice because instead of voting for crooked political parties and hoping they do good, youd be voting with your non inflatable crypto by investing in individual businesses and organizations. That creates inscentive to do whatever theyre supposed to do by having to compete against other businesses. I think the goverment should be limited to military and defense and road infrastructure only. The free market theory is proven by countries where financial freedom is higher also have multiple times higher gdp per capitas. For example west vs east germany and north vs south korea. A person can only care for a few dozen people at most, so how is a leader supposed to care for millions of citizens? So giving more power to the individual is way better for both the indivual but also for the entire economy.
Great insights. Stimulates divergent thought. Thanks for sharing!
Happy to hear that! I appreciate the comment
This would only work within a number of people where everyone still cares for eachother, which is probably at most 100 people.
