Woot Woot! I did it! What do you think? Have you done any 'at home' hair transformations this quarantine or are you waiting to leave it to the professionals?
Courtney Violetta i cut my hair to a short bob, bleached it and put a ginger on, wich didnt take because i overbleached my hair and parts in the back didnt bleach so are dark. Let's say it's a mess 🤷🏼♀️
Oh no! 😟 Give it time for the ends to not be so porous and maybe try ginger color again!
Girl, please share your color formula 🙏🏻
You had mentioned you normally use henna on your hair. Be careful with using hair dye on henna. Depending on what type of henna you could've caused a chemical reaction on the top of your head 😬.
Your hair looks great! I finally dyed my hair with henna. I used the Light Mountain Auburn and I loved the results.
Where’s Brad Mondo to react to these 2 videos? Lol
LOL as I was filming I was like, I hope Brad would be proud and not cringing 😂
😂🤣😂😂
@@TheAuroraCodes I'd loveeeee to see what he thinks! You really did well! I colored my hair henna (using your Lush video) about 2 years ago, and I'm currently in the process of growing it out😅 it's taking FOREVER. I was so impressed with how much color you were able to get out!
Sarah Kreutziger same but it’s only been a few months and my roots are finally passed the really awkward phase. Maybe I’m lucky because my natural colour is strawberry blond so the red growing out doesn’t look too harsh . I feel like if I had brown or blond hair it would be annoying to grow the red henna hair out
I was thinking the same thing!
Looks gorgeous!! Especially in the natural lighting in the end, it’s like the perfect strawberry blonde 😍
I LOVE it!!! Your hair videos are so fun to watch and I love how you're willing to try new things with your hair while still being conscientious about the integrity of your hair and doing it as non damaging as possible. That color looks great on you! Im currently in my journey to transition to red from blonde 😬
It is so beautiful! Copper and strawberry blonde and so shiny!! I am so looking forward to next video 🥰
It looks so stunning Courtney! Who cares what other people think - the only thing that matters is that you love it!
Even the brassy blonde looks amazing on you 💕💕 you’re so stunning 🥰
Aww thank you! 🧡
I just stumbled across your channel and oh my gosh I adore you!! And for someone who’s just winging it, you are a hair wizard!
I love that you used your intuition mixing the colors! You knew what you were doing for sure!! 🎉👏✨🥰🦉
You have the cutest freaking eyes 🐻🦌 I loved your copper hair, but I also quite like this lighter version! It looks very natural
Thank you thank you!
It looks good 😄 And I like the editing in this video, keep it up 😄
Wow! looks great! Its such an undertaking to remove henna and you slayed it! I totally relate, I change my hair all the time! It is an addiction I swear. The new color is so light and fun and looks great on you!
A few babylights at the top to bring up the lighter colour would be the icy on the cake 😍 looks beautiful, well done!!
You did an amazing job!!! Looks stunning on you 😍
Beautiful hair! Love your mountain-scape in the background!
Wow your hair looks magical. It's got this dark copper in some angles but then more blonde in others . It's like it changes color!
I LOVE IT!!!!! Thanks for the inspiration I may do this to my hair😊
So I personally think the newest henna video looks the best on you, you just look so vibrant and fresh, however, I get if you need a change so I support you girl, I'm on the journey to do my hair ginger 💕
I really love this on you especially in natural lighting! Hair is hair girlfriend, it ain’t that’s serious, as long as you’re happy 😊
Subscribed because your ultimate goal looks so much like my current ideal, so can’t wait to see if you achieve it 😊
It‘s so cool you show your color in different lightning. I‘m often shocked (in a positive way) when I henna my hair indoors and then go outside in the sun 😂 ❤️ and yes I‘m emotionally attached to your hair but it‘s great to see you change it. Maybe there comes the time I want to do the same and then I will know where to get my informations 😉
I loved the copper. I am strawberry blonde. But I wanted to see the copper color of my baby photos, so I followed your henna recipe and I feel like achieved the color I was born with. Now, it’s like 8 months later and I feel I want to do what you did, I want to lighten my copper to a more yellow copper. I loved the copper hair you had, but your hair, especially in the sunlight is totally beautiful and a vibrant new color. Thanks for posting your videos. Very professionally made and I love listening to your explanations. ✨❤️🧡💛💚💙💜💖✨
If you’re at some point excited to do something again, I’d reccommended getting the roots more ashy like your eyebrows. Maybe a 7A, blue will cancel out a lot of the copper tones, but since it’s so red, it will still be coppery, but just way more muted. Will look even better! but good job!
Thank you! I’ve been using purple shampoo to help, and it definitely has, but that could definitely be a possibility in the future. I also have a beige blonde toner on standby! 😉
A 7a will probably be too dark, it will grab way too much, an 8a Demi like Kenra for example would be perfect
Yes! This looks really beautiful!
I am watching you Courtney cause I’m about to do a similar transformation.
I transformed my strawberry blonde to my birth color over a year ago to the copper red. And now I want to be more strawberry blonde with some blonde highlights towards the bottom.
Your videos are so helpful.
This is exactly the color I want.🔥 Also I want your poster!
You did amazing! And you are simply stunning!
You always kill it when you color your hair! Love this color on you:)
You look so gorgeous! I love the golden tones
It looks really good Court, you did very well! The lighter, natural copper/blonde looks best on you! I do think that your natural dark blonde/sandy roots would look better than the red bright roots, but it will grow out fast 👌🏻 You look so good!
This color suits you so well, you look stunning!
Beautiful! Always been a fan of your hair. Healthy and gorgeous! Xo
you did a really great job!! it looks awesome!
You look absolutely amazing! 😍
Your hair looks AMAZING!!!
It looks soooo good! You killed it
It turned out so beautiful... I love the blonde and Gold mix...
I’m a hair stylist and that looks amazing, any professional who says other is wrong and jealous of your skill to say you’re not a stylist x
You look so good with you new hair color! It kinda looks like you’re an actual ginger and really suits your undertones
girl, you looks so gorgeus and beautyful.
I want to have the same hair color.
This hair color looks definetly beautyful and natural.
The new hair color suits you so much, please don't change your haircolor in the future.
You’re absolutely Gorgeous! And I adore your hair both before and after, even during was pretty fun. Well done, Goddess!!! Mostly, I love how happy you are with your hair-that is the most fun thing of all. So many of us are either hating on others or hating on ourselves, and you are Rockin’ the self-acceptance and sheer happiness of life. Stay free and keep bringing authentic Joy to the world! 🔥💛🧡❤️🔥
Your hair looks great ! I really like the color
Before I did my first henna I did a balayage. About every 3 months when my henna fades it’s kinda a similar pattern to what I think you’ve been talking about, the ends fade to a really pretty gold tone with just a less intense copper on top & midsection.
Wow well done! You must be proud of yourself it looks really good! It brightens your face 😘 I’m still here with oils in my head trying to fade my henna 😩
Love it! Going red this month as well 🙌
You did such a good job! It looks great!!
Thank you! 💃💃💃
Babe you nailed it! 💛🧡
GRLLLL i love it is just the color i want to have too! need to take the henna like you :)
Awesome job! Hair looks great! I’m a natural strawberry blonde trying to remove henna from my hair and it is such a pain!!!
Love it!! What colour did you use for the lengths? How many volumes? x
You did so amazing!!!!
Look amazing! Great job!
In the outside lighting your hair looks great and blended well.
I’m shocked how GOOD it came out 😍
Omg i am having these colour struggles at this moment. I colored my dark blonde hair to platinum blond but it turned yellow/orange 😂 yes!!! 👍
it’s really pretty! i’m still sad cuz your henna hair was my goal & now i’m confused on whether i should go through with the henna😭 haha but your hair looks beautiful every time! ☺️❤️ maybe i’ll lighten it first & then do henna to see if i get a similar effect 😊 i think it’s the color that you get the beautiful copper that everyone loves! & you stayed true to that☺️
do it! you can always bleach it, put it in a bun and grow it out
Henna is almost impossible to get out!
Gwendolyn Carson your hair looks amazing! is that natural or do you use chemical dye or henna?
Her hair looks incredible and every colour looks great on her
It turned out awesome :) Very cool color :)
It looks beautiful Courtney xx
Thank you! ☺️
Looks great! ☺️💖
You look great! Good job
I think you nailed it ✨
I love this color on you !!!
It suits you so good! I prefer golden shades on. Root part its just too red. Im sure you will kill it next time! 🤩
I’m so in love!!!!!!!
Hello! The end result colour is beautiful could you list the colours you used?
12:05 woah! the hair color in the car looked sooo beautiful, I want that
I think You did a pretty good job! And I understand You. I colored my hair with henna around 3 years. My hair was very healthy and I like it. What I didnt like was that my hair was every time more and more red. I have naturaly chestnut color, but with henna it almost turned burgundy. The last two years I was using just blond henna, but it didnt help - It was still darker and more red. Now I have short hair and it was natural color and I was hesitating if I should color it with henna or chemical color. I used chemical dye, but I feel my hair isnt so healthy like it was with henna. Maybe I use henna again although it hasnt the right color for me.
Gold copper color suites you the best. Beautiful!
fabric sissors would have probably been a better alternative than craft sissors, since they are ment to cut through fibers and if you think of it that way, hair kinda is fibre. The angle of the blade is different than with paper sissors. But I love the new look! The roots seem a little intense, but I can image it will look great once they fade.
It looks so cute ❤️❤️
Looks nice and unique:)💗❤️
absolutely gorgeous
This is GOALS. What level developer did you use? I was thinking maybe 10?
In the end in the car you look do much like Kat Macnamara from Shadowhunters!
It looks great!
The bright highlighter yellow still looks good tho!! Rly goes w your skintone 😄❤❤
i honestly love your hair it looks great now i want my hair like yours lol
I personally think it looks amazing ! You did a great job for doing this by yourself and at home 💖👍 It really goes with your skin tone a LOT, your eyes and face just pop so much ....also I think your mom was kinda being a hater at first lol. Toot your horn girl , because you slayed it
It looks so good! trying to remove henna from my hair as i watch this lol.
I love it in natural sun light. ❤🌻❤🌻❤🌻
I like it! Great job...total cost?
Beautiful!!!
I like it! Looks good and you did a great job :) I’m doing similar but I’m going darker with nothing but henna on my hair for years so I’m using indigo with henna but still see red in sun also lol 😂..
Good job!!
Tip: if you cant find hair shears, go for fabric cutting scissors instead, probably a bit more expensive but they’re much sharper. They also say to treat your hair like a fine fabric.
Great job hun
I love the color! I also loved the color before you recolored :-) I also like to experiment with color remover ... but staying away from bleach cause i have no experience with that (yet). Did cut my hair a few days ago ... it was almost as long as yours (i had very long hair last year i finally did it, and also ... cut it) and now it's below shoulders. But it's so much easier. (used to have really long hair all the time before i cut it a few years ago cause i wanted a long bob) I really don't miss the long hair. I feel free! Very curious to see the balayage later on! (i think i'll be inspired too)
Nicky Jacobs color remover is bleach
@@Andrea-yk6of it's actually not the same
Nicky Jacobs it depends on the concrete product we are talking about, but most of them have some form of bleach in it. To remove dye you have to open the hair cuticle and the only way to penetrate it is through some kind of bleach.
@@Andrea-yk6of makes sense though. I used colorfix yesterday ... been using it for 10 years now (like 2 times a year) but then again i never put heat on my hair ... so i never have damage from it. I also dilute it a lot with shampoo. (so also no developer) i do think it has to be less damaging ... but it all depends on what you do to your hair (or don't).
Hi, what were the proportions of the length formula? Love the result!
Ohh I don’t know 😟 I really winged it, I shared at some point after doing it the exact colors I used. For the lengths I know I added more blonde tones than the red tones. I know that’s not very helpful but I was just a mad scientist in the moment and everything basically is a blur lol
Your hair looks like a beautiful strawberry blonde color I love it 😄
I saw a hair dye video once where they tested the mixed colors by brushing them onto a paper towel. Once it dried you could kind of see how it would turn out.
I have no experience with hair coloring. I am wondering if you could have achieved the same look using henna?
I think your before is as stunning as the after! So I think you did amazing!
I love it!!!
its so insanely goood like woah :O 😍😍😍😍😍
I'm curious. I'm a natural red head and used Henna so now I have darker red hair. But I miss my natural. I may have to try this
Try wella colour charm toner in T14 also 050 colour Charm from Sally's
I like your left arm and right ankle tattoos!
I think the golden copper really suits you!
Great job on video. You look beautiful.
I used henna over bleach blonde hair about 4 months ago, having applied it multiple times and now I regret it and want to be blonde again 😬 You've done such an amazing job at removing the henna and I love love the colour you got! I want to take the plunge and do something similar but I know full well it'll go totally wrong and I'll be left with yellow/orange hair 🙄 "5* salon experience" 😂😂
