This is hands down one of the best albums that Weezer has ever put out. Any haters have bad taste or bad ears. This is pure genius.
Such an underrated song. Wish people would give Pacific daydream more of a chance because this song is so good
Amazing song
2:18 that bridge is soooo good!!
Love th album boys!
The purification of water, just a little bit
Own... Essa música é fofa pra caralho! 💕
Quem será o weezer voltasse ao BR rsrs
OH DAMn
how to delete someone else's video youtube 2018 working
I like how there are more people defending weezer than shitting on them
They are singing from there heart, not just spewing music out..
Pacific daydream actually turned out alright tbh
Harry Stoltz Everything will be alright in the end
yes... it gets ok in the second half
chirik0 "Happy Hour" and "Weekend Women" are terrible songs, other than that the first half is really good?
Why Would You Do That wdym weekend woman is great and happy hour is pretty good
@@yeeto8788
Ok I changed my mind on "Weekend Woman" Completely, but the monotone voice in the verses of "Happy Hour" kills me honestly.
just got through all the songs.... overall this is another solid album by Weezer... sure its different from their other albums but this album is a grower like any radiohead album just gotta give these songs more than a couple of listens.
Exactly how I feel. Fans always want pure perfection, which will most likely never happen.
the only difference is every Radiohead album has genuine artistic merit. Only 4 or 5 of Weezer's have it
@@darthvader3465 every Weezer album has something to love
*hears crickets*
Me: WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I USED TO GO AND TIP COWS FOR FUN YEAH
Red for life man
This is really damn catchy
STRAIGHT BOP
why tf are Weezer fans so toxic. keep it up Rivers and Co. great album I'll be rocking all summer
Don't mess with Weezer fans. They don't even like any of Weezer's music.
@@__VQ__ 😂😂
Sounds like this is going to be an easy listening soft kind of album
Actually Wasn't a big weezer fan , but this album is soooooo awesome. Gonna put my money where my mouth is. Weezr you have a new Fan.
Thanks for the song dump, Weezer! Loving it.
There is no song called dump
no they mean all the new music
This one is actually pretty good...
Is that bad?
No it isn't
Please understand, this isn't just goodbye ♫ ok you probably didn't get the reference but i'm bored, so.
no?
this whole album is like island in the sun vibes with modern instruments. that was the first song of theirs i heard that made me fall in love with them. this album is honestly one of my favorites. really emotive and it moves like honey. i love it.
This is the best song off the album
Marcy Gonzalez I mean.... It actually goes "any friend of Diane's" then this... To be clear
Pop weezer done right 👌
I feel like Weezer's biggest problem is the purist fans, if artists don't experiment like this you may as well listen to the same album on repeat for 10 years, why on earth would you want a second blue when blue still exists.
I know, it's pretty annoying to see.
They have experimented..... They fucking collabed with Lil Wayne of all fucking people. They made a song that changes styles every few lines. Green, Red, MB, Raditude, Hurley, were all somewhat "experiments".
We don't want another "blue album", we want an album that is similar style to the blue album
it can be different... when you find a song or artist you like, you want there to more of it most likely.
I don't want "Blue Two" featuring "Exclaim it Isn't", "Elvis Presley", and "Torn-The Cardigan Song"
We want an album with good lyrics, good guitars, and feeling involved..... Not "i can't find anybody to do my algebra".
I can't stand fans like you. You act like all we want is another Blue Album and for Weezer to go back to their roots, which isn't true. We just want something GOOD. Bands should definitely experiment, it would be boring if they didn't. My favorite band is The Beach Boys, and one thing I love about them is how different their albums sound. Wild Honey, Smiley Smile, and Today! all sound different but are all amazing. Sure Weezer is experimenting, but that doesn't automatically mean that it is great sounding. Fans like you have this blind loyalty to everything your favorite band does, no matter how trash it is. We are allowed to criticize a band that we like, and this isn't a bad thing. We are criticizing Weezer because we love Weezer and we know that they are capable of better. (Also this isn't very experimental to me, it just sounds like bland, modern day pop).
RaptorNomad you fail to realize why they've changed like this, they changed to appeal to the masses after Pinkerton flopped when it released but Pinkerton is where rivers show his emotions in his own way, this isn't like that
EXACTLY, if you think only the Blue Album was good, then don't listen to the rest of their albums. The least you can do is respect that the artist is producing content that they are satisfied with.
This is so underrated!!! This song is fantastic!
Pacific Daydream has aged so good like a good wine
Agreed it's aged well.
@@catsandpiano3072 It took me a few listens but I'm definitely enjoying it. I still consider it one of their weaker albums, but not bad by any means
I'm a hardcore hip hop/metal head but when I'm in the car alone I put this on & drive down the highway on & moon lit road on a star filled Arizona night sky ☺
i've became a weezer fan thanks to this album 💙
I don't know why people are bashing this album, I love it tbh
I do like a few songs off this album actually, this is my favorite I think
And yeah I used to be a Pinkerton/blue or bust kinda guy
Am I the only one who loves all their albums and all the styles or am I just more open minded
Came here to say this. I love it all.
This album is a bop
Thanks for exist!! I though I was alone!! ♥
Its not that you have an open mind, its simply that you actually like these songs. The people that don't like these albums just simply don't like them, and (probably) blame the terribleness of these songs on the fact that its "experimentation".
As opposed to " the old weezer" which they and probably all of us that lie weezer like.
I don't share this opinion, though. This is just what I've gathered from seeing a ton of arguments on these comment sections.
And I for one really like this album. It doesn't sound like weezer. I mean, it just doesn't, it sounds incredibly modern.
But it sounds good to my ears all the same.
Your not alone. The true fans dig this
Probably one of the best bass lines in a Weezer song.
I really like this one! Thanks Weezer!
Honestly shouldve been named the yellow album
you mean gold
swore I'd never buy another weezer album after Raditude, but this one might be the one.
Qriminal 1:64 you should buy white and ewbaite, both fantastic.
you and iiiIII
we dO iT rIgHtttt
This album to me is a sound that Weezer have been going for since around the Red album but were never really capable until the White album with "Thank God for Girls". That song opened up a new kind of style that was less heavy than their early work but no less like Weezer, and with this album they expanded on it.
BRAZIL WANTS WEEZER HERE adoro vcs :3
Why are the deep cuts so much better than the singles?
Orca Guy cause the singles are more pop-sounding, and they’ll get more played on the radio
Weezer tends to do that.
This is a song about a Spanish professional wrestler. He was leaving the wrestling promotion that made him a star in favour of a more lucrative deal from another comapny.
Problem was: This Spanish superstar was the champion of his current company. His final match with this company was to take place in his homeland. He refused to lose the belt in his home country. What's worse - he was set to lose the belt against a guy he had genuine hate for. He simply refused to take the loss - as scripted.
So the owner of the company (along with the referee and the Spanish star's wrestling oponent) decided to pull a fast one and call for an early bell when the Spanish Star was being held IN HIS OWN SUBMISSION HOLD.
The Spanish star was screwed over on live Pay Per View in his homeland and the belt was ripped from him.
The Spanish star spat on his (now former) boss and, allegedly, even knocked him out back stage.
They patched things up and reunited years later.
Screwjob.
Google It.
Mitch The First so the same thing that happened to Bret hart
Not true. This song has nothing to do with wrestling. I think you are referring to the Montreal Screwjob. Do they even have professional wrestling in Spain?
Mitch The First he's right
Peanuts4Everybody I don't know who this "Bret Hart" is but I don't like him. this isn't about him. who does he think he is? the "best there ever is, ever was, and ever will be"?
Yay!
woooh wooooh wooh, Love it!
00:10.5
This one's cool
Other than Weekend Woman, this is probably my favorite out of their recent songs.
Nice!
I love this album so much. At at first I didn't like it all that much but after listening to it multiple times it's become one of my favorites.
YESS
Song sounds like Hurley stuff
With better production imo. PD's production is kinda bad but Hurley is worse. Just try to listen to Time Flies.
@@pacificrain2016 times flies is supposed to be that way Hurley is pop produced with that one exception
Ahh this album is so good
i love pacific daydream ❤️
This is so cool
very good weezer
Wasn't "La mancha screw Job" a thing that involved a donkey, a lady and a bottle of tequila?
Alejandro Barrios I believe it's a reference to Don Quixote: Man of La Mancha
catchy stuff
la mancha screw job... heard that one before
I can’t figure out which song this sounds like.
Kevin De La Cruz reminds me of lowrider kinda. The beat and the background noises
love it
I love you Weezer! 💓
los amo malditos!
I would play this song more.. but... the name....
Best on the album imo
DJB Change Your Channel Logo
this is a phenomenal song.
0:25 anyonr else hear the guitar intro from The Other Way
Wezer
Album's favorite
Cosas buenas regresan este 2017
This and Get Right are the best songs on this album. Get right puts the original Weezer sound and puts pop over it, and this one is using older lyrics of 'Be lonely, but want to be with someone' and putting pop over that. It's like a pop version of the blue album.
This is my favourite
THIS IS A BOP, PEOPLE
🧙♂🔩
One song ah-ah-ah, two songs ah-ah-ah, three songs ah-ah-ah!
Cara demais amo muito essa música
Yo this one slapss
Is that good(some people like getting slapped 😉😂
Highly addictive!
0:16 car horn :)
India had a accident
This song is beautiful and i'll fight anyone who hates on this.
Done ok çok güzel
Everything else was pretty reminiscent of Pinkerton and the green album. Very solid:)
“Adios, rock band that we love the most”
In all serious though this song is pretty great and I’m personally a big fan of Weezer doing a one-off pop-focused album
Saludos Weezer desde México buenos recuerdos

ayyy
THIS FUCKING ALBUM🙌🙌🙌😩😩😩
Woohoo!
WEEZER OH MY FUCKING GOD I LOVE YOU
anyone can tell if this cover was made from joe webb? or from who it is
Done
Pd is amazing.
Jordan has a song
I low key love this album
i really dont get this album some of the songs are legendary but some are just bad
Get Right is meh, Beach Boys is merely ok, Happy Hour is decent and Feels Like Summer passable. I literally love the rest of the album. I'm happy.
Man, I don't feel the kind of comfort in this album the way I felt when the White Album was released.......it feels too modern and poppy for me on most songs. I kinda like two or three, and one song I actually like.
I have never found a single band where I loved every song in an album.
I'm a huge fan of Modest Mouse, but they have some songs that are just bad, to me that is.
It's pretty hit and miss. But I don't get people who are saying that this is as bad as Raditude... Is this album pop? yes. But a different kind of pop. PD is a very chill record so this pop production blends better with the songs than with the songs on Raditude. That's why I can't stand it but with PD I roughly like half of the songs... Mexican Fender, Feels like Summer, Weekend Woman, Any friend... and most of all QB Blitz are Songs I really like and enjoy. The rest is just meh... White was better, hope Black will be more like it.
one of my favorite of this album :-)
Sexy music
Beautiful
👍🏼
Nem pensei q fossw weezer quando escutei Uou
Lo que no entiendo es hombre Dr la mancha, o Don Quixote, es Español. Osea de España, no de méxico. Pero Rivers tiene un obsession con México...
donde viste eso?
I thought the White Album couldn't be outdone by a newer album
I absolutely love it when Weezer releases generic party-pop music and not anything original like The Blue Album or Pinkerton was. I'm not saying it has to be the same as their old stuff, because change is good. But this sounds exactly the same as some of the B Sides and singles of The White Album that I didn't like, and I LOVED that album. EWBAITE was a great album because it was new and old at the same time. Very original sounding. I know Rivers has the capability to make creative and intelligently-written music, it's been proven time and time again. Fingers crossed that The Black Album is anything but what we've seen from them in the past three years.
This one is my least favorite
Maybe?
