    It's good to see the struggle that goes into filming in a shop. At least there's no crazy amounts of rust like at South Main Auto. Brian on East Main St makes it look less intimidating. :)

      tylough I thought about not making a video on it. This Jeep doesn’t have a lot of rust but I work on plenty of vehicles that have just as much rust as the ones Eric O works on. He has a great channel BTW I have been subscribed to him since he had about 10k subs. It’s not intimidating by any means with the right tools. Thanks

      I'm glad you made the video. Yeah I've been following Eric since sometime in late 2015. He's quite the entertainer!

    That snap on kits looks nice. But the price for us DIY guys wow. The hook is neat may have to make one.

      Ouzo Lou Garage The Kit is nice but like I said in the video it’s not for DIYers. They only cost $12 for the caliper hooks.

    Hi Brian, great video. Very helpful. I have a question: what/which grease did you use on the ball joint before installing it?

      @@marvinottley5539 Thanks! Funny thing is I literally just dropped a video on the Icon Ball Joint Press. I use Amsoil Synthetic Multi Purpose Grease on everything I grease.

    Thanks for the feedback. I thought it looked like silicone grease and I used 3M Silicone Paste instead. What are your thoughts?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  17 днів тому

      @@marvinottley5539 I wouldn’t use a paste. I would use a good high temp grease.

    3:08 I use cardboard and boxes sometimes a 5 gallon bucket with a couple pieces cardboard in the bottom to catch stuff and keep it from bouncing into my shins.

    Hey how did those Detroit axle brand shocks hold up ?

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  9 місяців тому

      They were good for about 2 years and then started leaking. For the price though I think they did well.

    Snap-on master ball joint press is $800 now 😢

    • @FABAutomotiveDetailing
      @FABAutomotiveDetailing  10 місяців тому

      Yes but when you do them daily or even weekly it’s money well spent. The most stuck ball joints come out easily with it. It saves you time and frustration.
