Much appreciation & inspiration watching your videos, Thank you! ! I have so many nice 2 year old seedlings from your lot, one big & beautiful cv Amazoness OP that looks very much like your hybrid cv '3D' is one of my favorites! I'm getting ready to repot several plants producing pups & out growing their pots.
Very useful to see how you take care of propagation tasks, I'm learning your techniques👏👏👏. Thank you for sharing this!🙏. When my Magekyou and my Hakuja will grow I'll use your advice to propagate 'cause I love them🥰 (I need more of your hybrids but it's not easy to buy them in Spain or Europe). Have a nice day! 😘 💞
@@sabinpantis4149 Yes!! If the roots are healthy, the stem can produce offsets. You have to make sure not to pool water on the core, and keep it in part shade. I did not keep the stem from this particular plant however. I have many leaf props from it already.
It depends on the weather. If it is windy and the soil dries quick, every 3 days or so for those that are growing roots already. Basically, water whenever it is about 80% dry. Only water leaves that have rooted and growing.
Hahaha..., Satoru is my main propagator. Trimming roots is very important. It encourages the growth of new roots. New roots are much more efficient in absorbing nutrients. I also find that trimming back roots helps keep compact growth.
Wow beautiful Succulents ^^

Thank you for collecting my plants! ❤ I am glad you enjoy the videos.
Sou iniciante na coleção de haworthias , gosto muito de ver vídeos das espécies , e as suas estão maravilhosas , parabéns !!!
Thank you for watching. I hope you find it useful.
Great video as always! Do you know where I can buy the flat trimming tool like the one in the video?
I carry it in my webstore but it is currently out of stock. Please check back in late December.
Trimming tool (scalpel) is available in webstore now. You can find it here: sales.maughanii.com
What substrate are you using to grow? Akadama?
Hairy hands just came back! 😄🙏🏻 Why do you trim the roots?
What is the small white rock you filled in after a small amount of akadama ? Sorry I am new in this world
@@tuanta9192 those are Magamp-K, a slow release fertilizers.
Qual o nome desas pedrinhas vc usa .? Vc so usa elas para planias wahortias?
😯 Water right away and no need to air dry? Seems very blunt but I have to try
Wow, looks like there's almost no organic material in the substrate. Is that pure akadama or also pumice?
@@naturehd3537 I use pure akadama
How to get so much roots?!!!
What do you do with old akadama, do you recycle it?
No, I trash it. It is a fresh pot that was only used for a couple months, I screen and recycle it.
@@rennyshaworthia Thank you for taking the time to reply ☺️
Can you tell us why you cut the bottom part of the roots?
I think you meant the stem? I always cut off underground stem that is too long because it harbors pests and hinders growth of new roots.
@@rennyshaworthia do you repot that part as you do with leaves....I mean can it produce pups?

What is the white stuff? Also, do you have anything that helps with mealy bugs/root mealy bugs?
What's the name of the scaple blade you use
what did you love it for?cuz it's the one and only for you.Chinese name is shengshengbuxi for it.
Do you reuse the old Akadama?
Hi Annie, I reuse if the akadama is only a couple months old. I ship plants often, sometimes newly re-potted ones. These I re-use.
great video as always
what is the name of the tool to cut the roots ?
It is a re-enforced scalpel. You can find it here: sales.maughanii.com

Hello ☺. How often do you water leaf propagations? 😁
It depends on the weather. If it is windy and the soil dries quick, every 3 days or so for those that are growing roots already. Basically, water whenever it is about 80% dry. Only water leaves that have rooted and growing.
Why using gloves?
