I haven’t tried keeping Haworthia yet but I want to. Maybe after experimenting with one I’ll try growing a few together. I always like succulents combined in dish gardens. My guess for your riddle is some kind of calathea. Maybe pinstripe because the pattern looks a bit like hard candy?
@@ms89012 very close but because of the "paddle shape", the right answer is the Orbifolia. But you're super close!! Hope you enjoyed this little riddle. :)
They are so cool looking. I just bought a hybrid one, and it’s supposed to be sorta purple-ish in color. Need to get more! Hopefully I don’t end up overwatering it hehe.
Hi Cleo, I know what you mean. Where do you have them? It could be that they're getting a lot of light and uses up a lot of water. Perhaps consider moving it to somewhere shadier?
@@MyFellowFoliage they don't get a lot of light but I think I underwatered it because it shares a pot with other succulents so it is in the same water schedule with the others. So after your video, I gave more water only to my Howirthia and it is done much better. Thank you very much
May I suggest you water more by soaking in a bowl and don't top water. you want them green move them further away from the light. Also maybe get deeper pots as they have deep roots.
I’m guessing…Poinsettia??? And nice collection… my local garden shop just got a handful of these in and several varieties… I love them but didn’t know how to care for them and passed…seeing this makes me want to go out and get a few… self control is key for me … 😌 great video and those nails! Hugs!
Good guess! I want to let you know the answer but let's allow others to have a go and I'll come back and post the answer :) ooh if you like the look of them, definitely give them a go, they've been really easy for me! Perhaps start with one and see how you go (pick the cutest! 😉) thanks so much for watching! xo
What do you think of Haworthias? Are you a fan?
I used to be a fan, but after a couple of years growing several Haworthia varieties, I'm a whole air conditioner.
What a gorgeous collection. I am so envious. My passion for Haworthias is new, but strong.
I am a new fan of Haworthia :) Good that I get to learn a lot from your video. Thanks a lot.
Great video! I love Haworthia and Gasteria for their ease of care and lower light requirements.
I luv haworthias! ❤️ so glad to learn about them!!!

That sounds like an excellent plan Melissa! Your guess is the closest so far!! Want take a punt on the variety? 😉
White star?

I love this type of haworthia and easy bloomers.
Thank you! They really are

Aren't they! I just love them so much hehe. I guess that makes sense, some of mine were quite purple to begin with too 🤔
I love haworthia. It's interesting that I prefer the sunstressed and colors other than the green tone ones.
Great to view a video from a fellow Australian. Ethan from Perth.
Hi I really enjoyed your video you have some really nice Haworthias I keep them in the UK

Thanks for care videos.❤
Your nails are so beautiful 💛💛💛
Thank you hun!
I have also a howirthia cooperi but mine are more shriveled. Even when I water them, they never become juicy....I don't know what I am doing wrong

Maybe put it in its own pot and water it more
Thank you
the video is a year old, but the plant to guess... is it a calatea orbifolia, like the one in your background?
I’m still salty because the common name for Haworthia Cooperi isn’t “bubble plant” that name goes to another random plant
You are so beautiful, the plants beautiful too😊😅
What soil do they like?
Hi Dana, they like free draining chunky soil. I use a cacti mix as mentioned in the beginning of the video :)
10:38 is Haworthia Cooperi var Venusta, not var Retusa

I think they’re beautiful plants but like most succulents I would probably just kill it.
A calathia..? I’m somewhat new to the plant community so I dunno
For what I understand Haworthias don’t self pollinate.
Beautiful haws...BUT I find the music quite annoying. Maybe most ppl like it? I just want to hear about the plants...sorry to be so negative about it.
Hey there! Not at all, thanks for letting me know. I might just do away with the music in next video and see what the response is 😊
Your haworthia pot need more soil

@@MyFellowFoliage I'll be mindful to check back on the answer...I was 100% confident I was wrong but for fun...Poinsettia danced through my head.
@@lilyavery8230 Hi Lily, the right answer is the calathea/goeppertia orbifolia :)) Hope you enjoyed the little riddle!

Fair enough, I am personally a succulent killer as well but this is the only one I've managed to grow for so long!
