Many thanks Aaron! My desktop computer croaked a while back so I am hobbling along on my old HP Laptop. Was hired to draw plans for some church furniture and have been using SketchUp for Web. Found the Diffusion button there and it did a beautiful render of the Altar table in 14 seconds on the first try! Had to do quite a few more tries with the other pieces but they came out great in the end. This video was really helpful. I will try the next model with your suggested settings. All the best, Steve
This is a helpful thing when used as a “what if” like you say. A lot of people in this world are more visual than we realize and seeing a more ‘finished’ look can be helpful on getting them towards the right page. I am, however, distracted by your iPad’s level of charge. Plug it in! 😂
Very cool - didn't even know this was here (and now I'm wondering what other new features I'm unaware of in the iPad version). You folks need to consider bi-weekly iPad videos and a monthly stream. So much power tucked away in here..
nice. wondered when a.i. would be used for rendering.. although this is great. way I envisioned use is by generating projecting baking materials on polygon face labeled with prompts. preserving intended design rather than having to choose drafts unintended.. foreground & background environment enhancements could be finalized to 2d image frames for stills or animation..
@@Samuel_J1 it is intended to replace rendering. If you want rendering, SketchUp works with dozens of rendering engines. This is a tool for early visualizations, not rendering.

Thanks Aaron, I wish there was an Android version as I don't have the funds for an iPad but this is still cool to see.
