The new Enyak has better acceleration, you compared it to the eV80, while the current model is the eV85. Same is for the ID.4

More expensive too. Enyaq costs about 500k NOK whereas BYD Seal U is only 400k.

All Chinese EVs is going to be more expensive from 4th of july due to EUs new taxzation of Chinese EVs, this can make less people in EU choose an EV. This does not apply Norway for now😅

The thing is, when Chinese cars like the Seal U didn't exist, the premium segments led by Merc, Audi BMW dominates and for the right reason due to their premium interior and perky performances. Wealthier customers are welling to pay extra double the price for extra 20% of quality and performance. Now that seal and all the premium Chinese cars are here with equal or better interior execution, better EV tech and more features at a mainstream price, even if you are rich man, you won't want to pay double for similar products for possibly worst EV tech.
