"I didn't know she had the GI Joe Kung Fu grip."
Brad had the best lyrics.
Fax
The kung fu grip was a game changer
Lucky dude 😆
AND he hit the KUNG with two different notes making it flutter that was hot
Lou Dog is always such a good boy. A very well-behaved chill as hell dog. Bless him, wherever he may be - likely with Bradley right by his side in spirit. ♡
@Trenton Norlin 😂
Lol, he was actually renowned for biting people
Lou dog passed away in 2001
He was known to take a poo in certain places he should of not.. Naughty Lou Hahahaha
Except that one time at Vans Warped Tour 😂
Gotta love Lou Dog, roaming the stage like he owns it 😁❤️
Hey, markers keepers, right
Every live performance with Brad was so original and spontaneous even if they played the same set every time you'd never know what you'd hear.
You see them a lot? 26 here and I truly wish I could have been there
@@riverwaters6770 no I'm just going off what I've seen through video. I'm also to young to have enjoyed them. Its a shame.
@@sean33840 🤘🤘🤘
Shit, even most recordings of the same tune are just a little different. Sometimes I sing the wrong lyrics because I'm listening to a different version.
That is what I love about him the most. I love artists that change up their songs or are spontaneous, to make every show unique.
I love the way he can stop playing the guitar while just the bass and drums carry the tune while he sings. Then he jumps in with the guitar on the chorus. So simple, yet very effective
To high to rember anything but the chorus.. Gotta love it, rest easy Bradley
I was just thinking the same thing. Not sure if I would call stumbling through your own song repeating yourself qualifies as a great performance. I still love Sublime, but this was hard to watch.
TheCoolTable you need to appreciate sublime more if this was hard to watch for you haha
he was probably high but theres other recordings where he states that he didnt know the lyrics just yet because it was a new song that they hadnt exactly completely written.
could be wrong, just remember seeing something like that in another video
Yes, however it works and is remarkably in time and in tune
The song wasn’t out yet this is an early Demo so to speak.
rip my homie!
SUBLIME 4 LIFE!
Broooo I’m so glad UA-cam exists. Born and raised in LB. Never got to see sublime cause he sadly passed before I was born. But maaaannnnn, blessed to be able to see this
@lbxkillah2705 you can watch his son now!
Still hard to watch. I was born in L.A., grew up in Garden Grove and O.C. (Yes Mission Viejo not Brad’s crack house) and I miss him EVERY DAY!!
@MAGICK JACK ditto! Peace & Love
Just filthy, in the best sense of the word. Wish I appreciated them more at the time.
Lou Dog just chillin'.. They the best. I wish I would have had the pleasure of experiencing this live.
Brad was both the quintessential Southern California bro and a sensitive poet at the same time. Such a strange combo.
That drum and bass are locked in homie.
Miss you brad. Thanks for helping raise me with your music
These guys really got after it. So tight! Love the way Bud cracks that drum repeatedly. And epic breakdown just after 2:20 ish.
Bradley sadly I wasn’t born sooner but you definitely rock my world baby 😩 !! Too bad for me!! love the fact that sublime still showed love to Bradley even after his passing! Love the video for Santeria 🤘
Bradley asked the band to disband if he died and not to carry on his band and they hired Rome and did it anyways. They don't hold Bradley as high up as we do.
@@hunterkrattiger6797 you can watch his son now! He replaced Rome, i think Bradley would be proud
Finally a video for this
@Chris no it is 1995 man its in title
Well. Im just telling you that the concert was in 1995
Im ok are you
Homie was so lit but that's the only time he felt like he had that God given talent.
Damn 5 hours and only 900 views SHARE IT THIS DESERVES MILLIONS OF VIEWS
My god i get the chills everytime o gear sublime. Long Live Brad! 🤘
He for real just babblin and makin random sounds then doin the first verse again.
Damn I miss concerts before cell phones
Positivity all around
i wish every band had dogs on the stage
Fr, but he went deaf. Lol.
If your cool with deaf dogs. Totally irresponsible. Seems innocent but super damaging to the dog.
@@rahchinate ok dude
@@rahchinate Lou probably had a better life than any dog in the world he got to tour with the band instead of sitting home his whole life gtfoh
@@_-AaA-_. the dog went deaf. That’s no mystery. One reason and one reason only. Hell I wear ear plugs on stage. And you’re correct he did have a pretty kick ass life. Too bad he was deaf the entire second half of his life.
Such an odd masterpiece
Thanks. My original traded copy of this show was my introduction to the band. Sigh. i didn't realize by the time I got it (1996) that Brad was already dead.
I found a burned/copy of sublime on one of my scrapping routes 10 years ago and I was hooked. And not even realizing that Brad had passed away, I was looking to see if they were touring and found out he was gone.
The guy was a legend. Super talented. One of the many greats we lost at a young age.
Such a good performer. Can't help but imagine the performances' influence from him likely not being sober on stage and wondering whether it had a big effect on the show.
The thing about Bradley is that, while he was often not sober, he is a freestyler by nature. I don't think the drugs made him into a performer, he was naturally a performer. Check out the 1992 show with Todd Forman of him playing D.J.s and Rivers of Babylon (live somewhere) - supposedly, he was totally clean here (maybe drank alcohol / smoke weed - but nothing beyond this at this time). Rock the Boat, 91, he definitely was not on any hard drugs, and he still freestyled quite often.
On the documentary it’s stated Bradley was so wasted most of the times he was late to go on stage and would mess up entire lyrics of songs and people would want their money back. Venues complained about his behavior. So yes sometimes it made him sound more creative and better but his demons got the best of him which eventually killed him.
@@JazzyJeffRealTalk I just think he just went with whatever he was feeling at that moment. If you listen to his albums he's got remixes and little things mixed in here and there. He would really feel that music you can hear it in his voice. I'm sure drugs got him into different vibes but he was always just throwing in lyrics and just jamming
@@whiteboyslick but overall it was a huge detriment and killed him and ruined shows for him and upsetted his wife and band mates. So it wasn’t worth the extra creative juices it gave him
I like this in '95 the tech/sound guy/whoever had to time those delays and reverb on and off. Love that stuff.
Thats gold man. Had listened to this version a million times.
RIP Bradley always have come back to this one over the years.
I prefer this version more than the studio
Damn I miss Brad😢 thank y’all for posting this throwback! RIP 💔
0:17 his guitar right there is heaven.
What a crazy cool live show!!!!
La mejor versión sin duda
Chills everytime.. Something about this live version.. This is 10x better than the real track..
It’s the dub dub dubbbbb
respect to Clement Irie for the original lyrics.
Rest in peace Bradley...rest in peace Lou Dog
Lou dawg is adorable ❤
Classic
This is basically just an off-the-cuff jam session and it's still better than 90% of the music made today.
He’s just loaded and stressed out
Thanks - Victor
Awesome
Damn Brad! R.I.P
Great crowd!
Never seen this !
Bro had some great talent, to bad all the great artist die young.
He would have made more incredible music if he had lived....RIP
Maybe.....but I can't help think of that expression "why the good die young" or "die a hero or live long enough to become the villain". Kurt Cobain, Bob Marley, Bradley Nowell, etc. Who knows, if Bradley/Kurt stayed alive would they have sold out as they matured?
Nothing much better then this...
Except the Spanish version
Right, Bradley
🔥
RIP Brad and Lou Dog
🔥🔥🔥
His fucking voice ❤🎉
YOU HATE ME 'CUZ I GOT WHAT YA NEED
It’s awesome when he says Louie Louie Louie it’s because Louie went deaf
My lord he was talented
wonder exactly how he's getting that dub effect on his voice. super cool
This guys absurdly loaded on stage. It’s scary.
When we went to see Sublime my senior year of high school in 96 this was taboo, everybody thought we were going to get arrested. The guys that were in the gangsta rap thought we going to get arrested. But we didn’t
.love u.
Love Lou dog just walking around on stage
Lou dog just casually strolling around
He was definitely high here lol
HES SO HIGH LMAOOO
I miss Bradley so much 😕
😊
Anyone understand the first lyrics? He says something like, "have you ever had...." I can't understand the rest after that.
This dude was selling so many tickets and was high as shit the whole time. Gotta blame the management for the untimely death
THE DOG-
Bradley was and still is the best props to Rome keeping the legacy on 🙌
It’ll be over in a minute it’ll be over in a minute it’ll be over in a minute it’ll it’ll it’ll it’ll
Lou just posted
Brad carried such good energy! Its a shame, rip
What happened to the Spanish lyrics?
This was in 1995 before they recorded what you know as Caress me down. The song was brand new here and unfinished. Probably hadn't even written lyrics yet.
RIP BRADLEY:( the live version is better!
I think he's sober.
That poor dogs ears
Lou was most likely deaf by this point in his life
Most Dalmatians are born deaf dude. Thats why they used to roll with firefighters. And Brad saved that dogs life from a loser previous owner and made Lou an icon.
Lou Dog!!!
Uhh. GI Joe Kung fu grip
Go lou dog
Not to join the Karens, but Lou loved Brad so much. He wanted to be there with Brad because he loved him playing and singing. But his ears were definitely effected.
be cool if he has said no to D
i love bradly so much
