Interesting Ben Davis opening with the 'we be dumb Indiana HS farm kids' routine and then come out with triplets and excellent stick hight..but in the end Cinci was cleaner. D1 DCI corps experience shows up in their line
not very many people realize the fact that Ben Davis wasn't playing "cool".sounding rhythms but their technique was insane which for one is much harder than playing a drum set beat just split up into snare tenors and basses like Cincinnati did. I don't know how many of you are in a drumline but it shows so much more skill playing with great technique which to me is "cool"
You obviously have no idea what you’re talking about Cincinatti’s snare and bass line both go ham at 2:16 and it’s fairly clean. Both groups had pretty comparable “technique” which by the way both groups technique wasn’t THAT good. I’ve seen high schools with better technique. Cincinnati won, no contest. Anyone who has ever been in Drumline can see that. Coming from a guy who was actually in Drumline during highschool.
Ben Davis has a great drum line with great technique, the problem is it didnt showcase here because for one it wasnt the full drumline, like someone said no cymbals and they didnt teally work any formations like cincy did so they didnt show well. however they are fantastic, i know because i am an alumn and band geek and i know how hard they work and are pushed to perfection.
Let's be honest, Bloomington High School North did better then Ben Davis. Just kidding. Great job Ben Davis. Good experience going against a really good band. U killed it this round!

Cincinnati dominated that. I honestly do think the visual did it for them, too.
