you actually dont keyhole cuni. you fuse the root and add wire. using arc force to drive through the bevel edges. i weld that same thing everyday on a positioner
Took and passed that test,a real dead puddle is what I remember.Anyway I went somewhere else for better pay and benefits, real crap job, real crap place...and that was way before machines had anything like pulse or any other modern features!
Ray Kim Thanks for getting back to me. Not much but it means a lot. Somewhat new into welding and have fallen in love with it all but mostly tig. Trying to educate myself in all what's out there for tools of the trade and do it very well. Again thank you
@@NoVanity1 fuck you dude a job called me wanting to pay me 30 an hour to weld this metal but i have zero experience in it and how am i suppose to get into pipe welding if i cant even pass a test since i never welded pipe before ive been trying to get into pipe welding for ten years with no luck smh

Land and very little gap?! Didn’t even see a key hole

Very helpful video, thanks for uploading
Thank you for this video
Where is it to snow penitrition...Why ....no to snow...?pinitretion weld?
In the UK we would use Argon 2.5% or 5% Hydrogen mix it cleans the pool and improves penetration especially with pulsed tig
it looks like he has no gap . but what he is actually doing is called a keyhole technique. which creates the gap necessary for penetration

no..arabs like u not smart..
No es buena preparación ni gap. En diámetros y espesores similares a eso, es necesario gap y dos capas. Queda una soldadura fiable
