Loved the optimism of the two guys stood to the side, 'Is it going to work?' total shrug of shoulders, brilliant. Looks a 100 times better even with taking off that daft canopy. Its going to be a really good tractor when everything is done, looking forward to the next film.

Even with the vines it's beautiful... I love that series of Deere's. The 5020 and 6030 are my favorite. The 7520 is my favorite articulated. Thanks for saving it...

works better to put the snatch block pulley on the tractor your towing, takes half the pull to get it on the trailer, and doesn't pull sideways on trailer

Nothing runs like a Deere with an International pulling it! Lol. Although I am an International man, it's great to see someone take a John Deere in that condition and get it back running again and putting it back to work. No matter what the make is, old tractors are much better than the new ones and will be running long after the new ones are all gone given the chance. With the electronics, once these new tractors sit in the bush for 30 years, they would be scrap, as the electronics won't revive. It will be great to see this tractor turning dirt again.

I've been a flat bed tow operator for 20 yrs. I took 2x8s all thread and 2 eye bolts and made my own skid plates they work when the front tires move and you don't want them to. I've also bar soaped the bottoms where wood on wood builds heat and the bar soap acts as a lube. Even if the rear tires are locked up or flat these boards come in handy. They make neoprene skates plates for 4x4s and AWDs cause the front wants to go forward and the rears want to go backwards when in 4WD.just a thought to make your witching experiences run all soomther

We use to have a 5020 . We put a turbo on it and turned it up to 210 hp . Was a great tractor as long as we kept the hired man out of it. The hired man got it hot and put cold water in it and cracked the block on it and had water in the oil.

That’s a 5020 row crop because of the cut down dust shied on the platform and the row crop fenders. The front axle should be adjustable also. Good find especially with a turbo installed.

Those fuel filters were unavailable and back ordered at my dealership. I ended up buying a case of Wix filters from my auto parts store. That should last me into the next administration. I believe Donaldson made those filters for Deere to begin with. Probably just can't keep up with rebranding them.
