    In Assam we also have the Lakhmari. We call it Khurma.
    I love it. Nepal and Assam are so similar. Love to our Nepalese brothers and sisters.

      Assamese are descent of nepalese anyway, people from Nepal used to go abroad in India and they lived there for centuries.

    Gudpak... one of my favorite sweet. Used to savour it in Darjeeling as a child in my boarding school. Its been ages I tried gudpak....

    You could have asked him to taste lapsi ko Pau as well. Very Nepalese taste and original . That way he could have got better idea on varieties of Nepalese candies.

    In Jodhpur or bikaner (Rajasthan) we have similar sweet called GundPak.. almost similar recepie. They add few more things like black pepper in it. A must try.

      Royalty of Nepal migrated from Rajasthan during mughal invasion. Many cultures, food and rituals are same as compared to Rajputana. Even they intermarry. One of the queen of Nepal is from Rajasthan

    Gudpak is similar to as our Karnataka's Kunda sweet which available in Northwestern part District Belgaum.

      In Bengal and Bangladesh Ketli is Bhapa Pitha. In parts of Bangladesh they also put hilsa fish as stuffing, although it is not that popular.

    That Nepali guide’s body language is so lazy, even while eating, I almost fell asleep the previous episodes. The Indian host and the guy in red shirt in Kathmandu episodes are so nice. And Nepali ladies are awesome, they seem to be doing everything.

    In Assam also we need this rice cake.
    Actually the Rajbanshi community also lives in Assam. They’re around 70 lakh in Number in Assam. Here they’re known as Koch Rajbongshi.
