Chivalry as a concept was born from knighthood in the Middle Ages, where men upheld a code of honor that included showing respect and care toward women. But let’s not forget those women, generally speaking, embodied values that made such treatment warranted. They were feminine, modest, and prioritized their families, their men, and their households. Fast forward to today, and many women reject those traditional values while still expecting traditional gestures from men. They embrace a lifestyle centered around personal pleasure, casual relationships, and "boss babe" independence, yet demand the same level of chivalry that was once reserved for women who reciprocated it with loyalty, care, and devotion. Chivalry isn't just about men catering to women, it was a mutual exchange of respect. If a woman expects a man to treat her like a queen, she should be the kind of woman who would have been treated as one throughout history. Respect goes both ways, and modern chivalry should be earned, not blindly given.
Chivalry is a traditional gender role reserved for traditional women . Women wanted equality and chivalry comes at a position of being privileged .Not only that feminism does not validate gender roles . Having said that both have given thier time to know each other ,and no one is the prize
It feels like so much of her behavior was ignorant and pretentious-surface-level, fitting her own narrative without considering things from multiple perspectives. It was illogical and seemed more like an echo chamber that only reinforced her own views. like can you even try to understand what other people as human beings are trying to convey, with even even slight empathy pls
so, she basically put the female burdens, curtious gestures and responsibilities on a pedestal and disregard the male ones by not seeing the equal value in them as well. By this alone I could hear that she sees women superior to men and worthy of prais just by being a woman. And that is one of the reason why so many men checked out. As mentioned in the comments here Chivalry is a concept of mideaval times with mideaval gender roles and are also reserved at the exact same threshhold of those times. If either part of the relationship does not uphold to his/her end of the deal there should be some sort of communication with the goal of correction. If denied of course there should be either consequences or silence. But expecing chivalry by default is entitled in my opinion. At the end of the day, if you feel like what you bring to the table is more worth then what you recieve its up to you to find a partner which will be content with it. Bringing value to an relationship goes both ways.
Women should always expect flowers irrespective of the general coronation. Men just want that to be reciprocated in a manner where they feel loved as well. As a man, I'd love to be on the same trajectory as women, but in this era of high expectations, the bare minimum is the least acceptable.
Women do the mistake of hanging in a relationship where they don't feel respected, contribute too much etc. and then they develop high expectations to cope for the lack of it, then they project those expectations to all men in the world, even though they don't know how there are different and all kinds of men out there then the one they have been in a relationship with

Because she is facing reality, truth, logic, rationale, while all these years she is living in fantasy, dilusion, wokeness and chaos .
