Its interesting how having proper funds and time to care about your daily habits can cause you to deviate so much from what is so culturally American. American habits are the habits of people with low funds and lacking free time, but with an abundance of materials. Naturally, the people will gravitate to the cheapest and quickest options available. Being given the blessing to deviate from that can make you seem almost alien to the average viewer.

Uh, MSG is actually pretty bad for you.
Well, it's OK in very small amounts but.. That amount is smaller than what most people think.
I used to eat a chef Salad from a place that was absolutely (strangely) delicious... It was ice berg lettuce and cheap dressing! But I and my co-workers couldn't get enough of it.
After awhile I realized that I was getting headaches after eating it.
Then I realized that even the lettuce in the salad tasted delicious without any dressing....

It's embedded advertising. He likely has a Doritos "brand ambassadorship" -- which does not legally have to be disclosed. They pay you monthly and all you have to do is make sure their product shows up in the background somewhere, or that you mention how you use it regularly... He says his assistant is the one "keeping it stocked" -- but I guarantee you Doritos has a guy who comes in every week and stocks it for them.. I've seen on other mechanical 'garage channels where they work on cars, they have a fridge that is stocked every week with mt dew. And they are always joking about how it is always full; (because that gives them a reason to talk about it)-- but a few times, they showed the guy restocking it on camera; It's literally just a convivence store guy who goes around stocking stores, and he stops by your place on a regular schedule, just like a store. This is marketing 101; It's worth for these companies to give you a free supply of their stuff, because every time it pops up in your videos, it's like a free ad for them, and the viewers don't even realize that it has purposely been placed there. But I never imagined that he would make a video about it like this. It's a little too on the nose and he should be disclosing that it's an ad-- but I bet he won't, because it's a "brand ambassadorship like I said. smh.

For me gluten seems to be in everything, especially with cross contamination. I’ve gotten sick from non-labeled gluten free oils and spices. Then I also get sick if people have used wheat flour in the room earlier in the day.

While one may be the creator and another their subscriber; while all of us live opposite many others, across the gulf between having reach, success, or fame, here on UA-cam, but we're all simultaneously fans of / subscribers to other members' channels, putting viewers and creators shoulder to shoulder as fans of others.

Here in Canada, ketchup flavour Doritos are mind boggling. They're like this tomato-ey umami experience with a little zing and some sweetness. Instead of using a cheese/dairy seasoning base, they use nutritional yeast and tomato powder, along with MSG and the usual list of unpronounceables. I remember them growing up, but they got discontinued at some point. A few years ago, Frito-Lay brought them back as a limited time "Throwback" and have been doing so every summer. My mouth is watering just describing them, and I haven't had any in months.

They are usually sold as street food here in Mexico, and are made by opening a Doritos bag and stacking it as much as possible with peanuts, grated carrots, grated jicama, cucumber, hot sauce and lemon. You will still enjoy Doritos but all the vegetables add a great flavor and gets you into eating healthy food to somehow "neutralize" all the junk you are eating in the Doritos.

That's what the undercover sponsor (hard to see even with 0.25 at the beginning) wants to hear! Congrats Johnny!

Since you eat chips so often, I have to know how often you bite wrong and the chip gets like jammed inbetween your teeth and it hurts? Everytime I eat chips this seems to happen and it messes with braces aswell- Thank you :)

This feels like the most elaborate, thoroughly-thought out ad for Doritos, and I'm all here for it. 🤣

My wife , when she was young reacted badly to msg and chinese food in particular. her pupils became tiny she could only hear a rushing sound and she could barely speak.

I just wanted to say, as a Japanese person, I 100% approve eating chips with chopsticks.
I do it all the time!

Similar snack we have, called arrogant nacho covering with salty cheezy flavors the host might be indulged in for his breakfast? To add sea flavors to soups, unlike Japanese, we use several more products including sea weeds, dry anchovy, herbs, onions,... etc. So it's a little bit strange to see Japanese use only one ingredient to add sea flavor with seaweed. But essence from dry fish flesh and seaweed that became msg later should be properly estimated despite rumors against msg, since the ingredients in msg contains no harmful material.
