That is so beautiful. You’re very fortunate. My squirrels are still a bit afraid of me and won’t approach me. My chipmunks are a little braver. But my next door neighbor hates animals and birds and she’s always complaining. So I have a difficult time trying to work with my furry friends. Do the birds ever come to the window? I'm sorry you have to deal with that neighbor. I also have my own challenges here, it's not as easy as it may seem to spend time with the squirrels. I live in NE Texas & i have a feeding station by my window for birds & squirrels. Its hilarious to me that i can be busy & the feeder can be empty for two days then the third day i fill it up & often within ten to fifteen minutes the squirrels show up. It takes the birds - bluejays, cardinals, doves, titmouses, woodpeckers, sparrows, wrens, at least 24 hours before they find the new refill of food.
@@Kat-Knows That’s funny. My squirrels usually don’t show up until late in the day. But the birds and chipmunks are busy all day long. I’ve got a nephew in Boerne. Are you close by? I’m in Knoxville TN.
@Debra Boerne is down by San Antonio. I live up in NE Texas by Oklahoma. I am about 4 hrs away from Boerne. Texas is huge. I think my squirrels have made a nest in a giant oak tree by my house & can see the feeder from their tree. It does seem that the birds don't nest in the trees near my house cuz of the squirrel family??
I ran outta nuts so I put out Special K cereal for the birds and on the other plate I put peanut butter. squirrels and chipmonks love peanut butter. bird party on the cereal. Is that brown sugar with the nuts mixed? Couple squirrel doobies? haha.
I like to feed the squirrels in my neighborhood but it seems that everyone doesn't like squirrels. They keep telling me that the squirrels bite and I keep telling them that not true.

Squirrels poop doesn't bother me, it's the birds' poop that makes the most mess.
