Thank you glad you are enjoying them. I use a 3/8 stud extractor you can get them online from the usual places, good set of mole grips but sometimes you may have to heat the stud up as they do get a bit stuck

Hi Kev's vintage tractor repairs, very professional credible job. I am having an old Fordson super major tractor, but the rear hydraulic lift pump system failed. I am seeking for availablity of complete hydraulic lifting system and cost please including engine crankshaft and complete overhaul system please

Hi thank you for your message sorry haven’t got back sooner. Not to sure what you really need for the rear hydraulic as you’ve said all of it has the pump failed as for the engine if you go to Emmark uk’s website all the parts you need to rebuild the engine are on there including new crankshaft also they post all over the world. If you need anymore advice please send me a message.

Hi Kev, follower of all your videos and found them very helpful (not being a professional mechanic). On replacing the cylinder head, I took out the push rods, hoping to reuse them in the new head, and found them to be full of black gungy oil. Can't see how this oil got in there, but should it be there, if so do I fill them with new oil before replacing the top tappet adjusting bolts and their locknuts. Many thanks - Adrian

I must say as a young man I have forgotten the oil pipe, you only ever do that once. 😁😁
