Everyone talks about the hiker, but is no one going to talk about the wholesome experience of riding the ferris wheel with the woman that was pregnant?

@@antifascistamerican3782 Yeah, one of them was a nursery aide that was pregnant. She even jokes with the player saying that her water is breaking on the Ferris wheel before saying she was kidding.

If it were a more traditional RPG, I feel like there would have been a side quest that opens up in the post-game where you go and track down N. I would have done it.
Tim Smith Me too. I remember having this weird crush on him that persists to this day.
I just...he was a cool character. His intentions were genuine, and (from what I remember) he was brought up to be manipulated by Team Plasma
N's character arc was the most interesting out of all the rivals. He was also pretty much the one rival I shipped my character with 💚
@@francesleones4973 me too. I ended up shipping most of the player characters with their counterparts, but I ended up making a complicated family tree for the player characters of Gen 5. For example: Rosa and Mei were twins, despite being merely different names for the same person. Nate was their cousin and he was stolen by Ghetsis to be trained in Team Plasma. Hilbert was Hilda's twin brother, and he was also stolen by Ghetsis. It gets a bit messier after that, tbh. I ended up killing Mei (by Ghetsis's cane) two years after BW2 and shipping Rosa with Hugh. And N and Hilda can't have a child because Ghetsis cursed them because Rosa killed him and not N. They tried, though. Loads of times. But Hilda would always miscarry, until the fifteenth, when the miscarriage was about to start and Ash's Pikachu saved her and the baby girl, who was born mostly healthy afew weeks later. But N wasn't quite happy. Pikahchu's Thunderbolt actually gave the little girl Harry Potter-style magic instead of the ability to communicate with Pokémon - she can talk with them, but she can't translate what they say to others.
(See what I mean by it being complicsted? It gets worse...)

I never played Fire Red and Leaf Green, so I'll stay out of that one
I also haven't played Gold, Silver or Crystal, but I did play Heart Gold and Soul Silver so I'll go with Ethan x Lyra. I didn't put Silver with anyone, but I'll keep him around as a friend.
May x Brendan, definitely. Wally is at the 'just a friend' stage for a lot of the relationships.
Dawn x Lucas as well. I dunno where to put Barry, though.
N x Hilda (need I say more?) with a daughter named Amina.
Hilbert would appear somewhere, and I would set him up with Skyla.
Rosa x Hugh, with a son named Guido, after Rosa and Mei's Dad, and a daughter named Bayo, which means joy and I forget what language it's from (sorry! Behindthename.com should have it!) and she has that name because I didn't want to do the Harry Potter thing with every single character.
Mei is kinda dead.
Nate is too focussed on Shiny breeding to have much time for family and settling down.
And Serena and Shauna might be in a love triangle pointing to Calem. Ultimately ending with Calem x Serena. I do not know when or how.

Lol, the ferris wheel had some weird people you could ride with. Gen 5 had the best soundtrack though, and this track is no exception. So relaxing... 😪😪

On the topic of Nimbasa(The theme park area), there's a pretty major side-character everyone seems to forget: Yancy. Her quest began in near the ferris wheel with a broken Xtransciever, which then rings only for Yancy to answer. You don't see her for a long time, and there's only so many VERY specific places you get to call her. Once all the call spots have been visited, she'll tell you to meet her at the Nimbasa wheel, and then you see her. Pink hair, white hat, almost looks like Lillie. Every so often you can call her and sometimes she'll even offer trades. It's a really interesting sidequest and I'm surprised nobody really remembers her. I made it a daily task to call her every so often when I still played. Never showed up in the anime either. Weird. Yancy is unquestionably the most underrated character in the franchise, with no reappearances, advertisement, anime acknowledgement, or even... *fan art.* So maybe, just maybe, go back to B2W2 and call her. That or boot up a new game and do the side quest! Either works.

Edit: Alright, I just found out Yancy is only if you pick the Nate as your character. Rosa meanwhile meets up with a blonde, green wearing boy named Curtis that fills the same role. Either way, they're nice characters, and they need more attention. Thanks again.
I never found out about them till this year and i finished the game 8 years ago. Oof but when i did discover them i felt your pain
I'm always glad when I see Yancy or Curtis in a fic or if I find art of them.
I miss Yancy... My headcanon is the Male player and her eventually got together.
