- Hello and welcome to Badger Workshop. Since moving into this workshop all my rolls of tape have been in a box. I decided to make a rack out of some copper pipe to sort it all out.

I like your sense of humor when you said "I had to use a screwdriver like a savage". Oh, how times have changed with impact drivers. Cheers. Scott
Thanks Scott. Glad someone likes it.
"Use a screwdriver like a savage !" Made me chuckle . Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Keith
Got that taped Matt !!!
Haha thanks Brian
Thanks Matt, nice video for a Sunday relax with a brew and a bit of fresh banana loaf! Simple design, well executed....top badger! Always pleased to see your "respect for the table saw" guard, knife, push stick and PPE. You're a star!
Thanks Robin. Sounds a nice day you are having
Never have to search again. Nice job mate 👍
Thank you. I am slowly getting organised.
@@Badgerworkshop looking good Matt. Shop is turning out very nice.
Great idea, I think it's the most practical tape rack I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much
Excellent idea, well done
Thank you Richard
I had to use a screwdriver like a savage - Brilliant. I love the simplicity and complete lack of pretentiousness in your videos Matt
Thank you very much Brian
Nice work... thanks.
Thank you Jim
Awesome job! 😃👍🏻👊🏻
Thanks Fred
haha You have a long way to go before becoming a true savage. I think the true savage might have just beat the screws in with a rock or an old car spring. Simple, but useful little project. The workshop is really taking shape now. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes.
Thanks Mark. It has taken me a wile but it is getting there
I could do with one of these, in my darkroom/office though rather than my workshop. I use three different tapes just for an archival framing, and another for my wet prints plus the usual sellotape, masking tap and duct tape (the best in the dark repair kit known to man). So I definitely have a need for it there.
Another great video, thanks.
Thanks Mark. Sounds like you have even more rolls of tape than I do
SAVAGE!
Thats me
Great tip with the runaway end caps.
Thank you
That's a lot more civilised that me, I've put a row of long screws in one of the ceiling beams and hang them off. It's terrifying when one lands on your head if a powertool is vibrating the room a bit :)
At least its only rolls of tape that fall on you
Nice one Matt. Only a "semi savage"... a real savage would have banged in the screws with a rock 😂🤣😂. There is hope for you yet..lol. Keep up the great vids 👍.
Thanks Frank.
Another great little solution mate.
Thank you
i could say for a savage person your aesthetics is quite good . I like it because it is not look bulky !!!! (and something irrelevant , how i determine the depth that i want to cut the outer side of a plank with a router when the bit doesn't have a barrel . I bought a makita 3709 and i havent a clue for that )
Thank you. I don't know much about routers. Im sure there are some great channels with lots of advice on routing
I do like a bit of copper in a project! Good work Matt 👍 😊
Thank you. So do I
This was such a great little tip :D Nice vid. And great humor as well :D Going all caveman and using a hand tool. ROFL!
Thank you
I like the project, and the different ways of using materials. If you don't have clamps long enough, or would rather not have to clamp the caps in place, then try drilling a small hole in the copper pipe where it won't be seen, then any build up of pressure should be relieved and the caps should stay in place.
Thanks Robert. Good idea but I would rather not have holes in them.
I'm starting to really like copper now since watching your videos. I'm thinking of making a plate rack for the kitchen using a similar technique.
Have you thought about getting one of those angled screwdriver attachments? They really help to get into tight spaces
I love using copper. I have seen the angled attachments but its not something I would need that often
Only when you don’t want to use a screwdriver like a savage! 😜
Epoxy is what now?
