Brandon made sense of several common things that record collectors tend to do. Keeping sealed records, for instance. I always hear in the VC, " Just keep one good copy, and purge, sell, or trade the other ones. My very large number of records gives me great pleasure, and I'm not ready to start selling or trading. It's taken me this long to have the collection of my dreams ! Brandon rules ! Thanks for having him on 🎵
Well worth the wait, Chance. This is by far, your finest interview. It never hurts to have an articulate, intelligent, and thoughtful interviewee. (and friend) I enjoyed the conversation.
@ConcertBuddie - All of your interviews are great, and I'm so glad you finally got around to Brandon! What a staple in the vinyl community! So nice to see the Hall Of Famer himself open up about his experience in the vc! A founding member! Keep these comin', dude!
Great turning on the youtubes on a Sunday morning as I'm starting my day spinning some records and working in the music room and seeing two of my favorites talking records and collecting.
So you did a broadcast with me and was not worried about being professional, say what! It was great to hear Brandens thoughts on music and the VC. One of the greats of the VC.
Hahahaha, I was “almost professional” by the time we met up with you and Jim for the pod. So think of it like this: without you and Jim putting me through my paces, I couldn’t have done this one with Brandon. So thank you! 😂
Loving this series! I’ve been seriously thinking for over a year about getting into the VC on UA-cam and this series is getting me excited about it . Keep up the good work man :)
Appreciate the kind words, thanks! The water is warm, if you ever get the inclination (to make videos). Happy to help if you have any questions or ideas 🤘🏻
Nice interview with Mr Hall Of Fame! I had run across one of his videos in the past and was amazed at his record collection and his room where he stored it It’s like he has a record store in his basement with the shelving and posters Incredible
awesome interview!!!!!! i feel so fortunate to live in our area where i can actually visit in person with Brandon and Billy in person. look forward to bumping into too sometime Chance! had no clue Brandon was the hoops star. very interesting to hear about him meeting Weber!
Brandon that one of the first dudes I watched on UA-cam on vinyl man love talking to him about 80’s R&B he sent me some killer VCLt recently he is a major inspiration Chance killer mind if a Collector loved it to the fullest .
I stumbled on the VC about 4 years ago it was while I was researching gear i think 33rpm (Frank) might have been the first music related channel but lots of great people on here that know and love music!
Right on! I did a chat with Frank not too long ago. I’ve been lucky that 99% of the folks who’ve sat down for these chats have been people I’ve watched for awhile myself; and they are great people to boot. Have a great rest of your Sunday! ✌🏻
Another fantastic interview Chance!! Brandon is the true OG of the VC and one of the few members of the VC I’ve had the pleasure to meet in person, truly one of the nicest guys i’ve ever met and his knowledge is unbelievable, one of your best yet, amazing hearing his insights even though I’ve heard most of them before!! Phenomenal video my friends 👏👏👏👏👍🤘🤘
Great interview Chance! Brandon is the man and has certainly influenced my curating and collecting vinyl records. If I ever get a permanent home or location, I'd display my collection the way Brandon does. Prefer browser bins to flip thru the collection. Someday! Fingers crossed 🤞😍
@@ConcertBuddie I'm doing great. Eye is all healed up. Posted a few vids recently too. For me, living in an apartment building, I can't crank my music anymore. Sucks. 😭
Hmmmm….something I hadn’t considered (AMA). I might do one! Until then, I did sit down with Spinz Vinyl (Jason) a few months ago to talk about the podcast and it’s one year anniversary, plus my UA-cam experience. But if there’s bar questions I can answer directly, say the word!
Brandon is the GOAT

@@ConcertBuddie how did u get into record collecting? did u collect CDs first?
What, a lot of thought put into a channel name? Wow, I sure failed on that, I should have spent more than 5 seconds on it lol.
😂😂😂
