Good review ...It’s very tough to compare this line up... X3 gives a blend of luxury and SUV character.Volvo is loaded to brim, how reliable it is?. Ultimately a good service will decide how you enjoy the buy.
Discovery is 7 seater where as all other in comparison are just 5 seaters , Discovery has 900 litres plus of boot space , you can carry more luggage than other 4 cars in competition
Porsche Cayenne Jaguar F pace Volvo XC60 Lexus RX Audi Q5 BMW X3 Merc Glc Test drove all for some time.. nothing drives like Porsche and nothing is as comfy as xc60 n Lexus. Audi has technologically advanced. Jag is mix of all.. bought jag finally..👍 Hated discovery sport when it was given as a loaner..
I was shopping for a luxury SUV and narrowed down my choices to Q5 and XC60. Q5 felt sportier and more powerful. Liked interior design of XC60, but did not like the fake leather (Q5 comes with real leather in comparison). Also what steered me away from XC60 was all the issues reported on the control panel screen. After driving both cars, I decided to get a Q5 premium plus model with 20” wheels and B/O stereo system.
The review was fantastic.!! Was expecting this sort of review among the luxury SUV class from quite a long time. Jag was missing but all these 5 are fav contenders as well. Good job Autocar India.
Volvo is best in every aspect if we leave the driving pleasure aside and those who all comment without knowing anything that Merc, BMW or Audi are the best just because they are German, seriously guys please research and comment because they can’t always be the winner of all competitions, the Volvo is just better and worth your money..
A great review. But audi q5 seems to be the best package. Looks fine, interior seems good to me at least, well equiped, comfortable back seat, Spacious, Great performance and ride is great.
Always landrover discovery & the reason is if you spending 50 to 60 lacks then why should go with 5 seater discovery is 7 seater car(all are 5 seater) ,the largest boot space 981 ltr(other have only 510 to 530) and now landrover is owned by TATA 😃 so we should proud for this and support our nation's company.
if only land rover had refreshed their discovery sport with their latest design of other range rovers like the velar with the updated dual pro touchscreen interior and also sleek design exterior as velar it would leave the german and the swedish competitors speechless
It is a 'Land Rover', not a 'Range Rover' and the next step up is a full size Discovery. There are plenty of choices in the JLR range of cars and if Velar style interior is required or preferred, then buy the Velar instead. It will cost more of course. Then there's always the option to buy a Jaguar F-Pace, which is a blander and more boring permutation of the Velar.
While casting opinions many opt for cars other than merkz, but when buying most of them opt for merk other than the rest, because they are the best and most reliable.

XC60 pips the Merc in comfort & luxury. BMW does the same to Audi in driving & power. So we're left with XC60 & X3. Wanna drive, go for X3; wanna be driven, get Volvo. Want a 7 seater, Land Rover is 4u! After sales is also a major aspect to consider. Like the "fly in the ointment" phrase BTW.😂
Not many realize this but the volvo is quite cheaper to maintain.. I was surprised to find out that xc 90's annual service cost is around 27-30 thousand.
Suv feel and solid built quality + off road capability - Landrover discovery.(+ 7seater) Performance, rear drive quality - audi Overall balanced - volvo Bmw and merc - lots of improvement needed and is in loosing side here. And the looks interior and exterior - that's individual choice.
All the cars in this video have received a facelift. This video needs to be done with all the new cars. This segment is one of the most popular segments in any luxury brand range
