And I was going to test this to see what types of food has been making my blood sugar level go sky rocket and which one goes down. But I'm on a pill that I guess makes it lower my blood sugar so thank you so much.
Thank you for the video. When I put my test strip in I see the little drop of blood display but it only stays on like maybe 4 seconds and thenthe meter goes off. Does that mean i need a new battery? Sometimes it stays on longer.
Thank you for this video! I just bought the Relion Premier. I am mildly prediabetic and have been trying desperately trying to stave off diabetes as 3 out of 4 of my siblings have it. I have been using my husband's monitor, the Relion Prime (His diabetes was recently reversed.) I bought my own so I could test. I feel more confidant now that I made a wise purchase.
@@mmaaddict78 My brother has sworn by Keto. So far, via the monitor, I am still below 5.7 on my A1c. Keto will be a bit hard for me. Not a sustainable lifestyle.
I have used the Prime for years. My husband bought me the wrong strips so I purchased the Classic to use the strips he got. I tested both together and 3 times over a 12 hour period the Classic showed a higher blood level of 17-20 points than the Prime. Which one is more accurate? Hoping the Prime is more accurate.
Why do you have people post questions about these machines but you don't seem to be responding to any? I only saw 2 responses to questions in all the comments and unless I'm missing something I didn't see why you liked the premier better except that the accuracy is better but what do you compair the readings to so that you are sure? I've actually heard that the prime is better so I'm curious but I don't expect a response. Other than that thanks for the informative video!
Do you have any experience with accuracy with these meters? Like using it at the same time as blood draw or in comparison with other meters that are known for accuracy?
i have used the old relion prime for over a decade, but had to get the new premier classic, and so have been testing using both meters to test the new classic.The new Relion classic is widely off every and claims it is w/in the 20% difference from a lab draw. Makes the difference between being diabetic or not! The old meter would be the same as the lab value( I took it with me and tested just after the blood draw) Useless!
Video did not give the information I was expecting. Would have been nice to hear pros and cons of each AND why he preferred one meter over the other. Time spent on the lancing device was a waste and was not what this video was supposed to be out. Definitely a waste of time. I received more valuable information from the comments postled.

The prime seems to be more accurate and consistent. The premier classic is all over the place even when I check one minute apart on the same finger.

i bought Relion premier voice meter when i insert strip no reading is there any mistae i did
When i put a strip in my new premier classic it doesn't come on if I press the button it goes to zero. Can't get it to work. Help please

I wish all their meters would use the 2032 batteries. Alkaline batteries will leak and damage the contacts or device.

Why can't we use or interchange the test strips?
they are not designed to be interchangeable.
200 lancets would last me the rest of my life.............. js
