That Fw-190 turned worse than a Bomber at that altitude-the lack of speed is what helps a lot too. But I find this result, especially in the early P-47s like the D-22, happens quite a bit, especially having Spitfires try to turn with you only to eat up all their energy in half a second.
The P-47M has to be one of my all time favourites in the entire game. Looks great and feels exactly like the D Variants several BRs lower. By the way, great plays!
There is a French bomber called M.B.175T at 3.3 with massive wings, elevator and an air brake. That can out rate most planes at low altitude while retaining the ability to do tight turns with good energy retention. It has German 20mm guns (The guns are spread apart set 300 - 400m) with 400 rounds and a accurate turret with 250. The maneuverability is best at 1000 - 3500 meters, but you can dive on fighters trying to reach your 5000m alt in the beginning of the match while also using HVAR as a devasting weapon against Bombers in head on. Disadvantage is horrible max speed, weak flaps and wing rip. One of the few planes i got 2kd in and i think you would love it.
@@Warrior_AP the sea fury we have in game is a patrol aircraft, the real life one doesn't even have cannons and never did. It's the sea fury mk10 the one that was the good one. It's as if you put an A10 at 7.0 with an-m3 guns and no missiles; yes you're fast but everyone is just 10km slower than you, have better engine outputs and definitely can cope with your good roll rate and high speed pull. If you have flown the so8000 narval the sea fury is basically the same but with worse gun placement and ground spawn.

Not a big fan of P47's especially in today's meta of Air RB, but they can still fair when you get the right match, but that right match dont come very often and would require some sheer luck, and a match like in this is a good example of that coz the enemy was mostly 190's with few 109's which is just easy free kills for any American planes with a decent brain cell. I think the D22 has it the easiest considering its lower BR and lighter weight. It just takes too much time to get up to high altitude coz of their average climb rate, any other plane can easily outclimb you and by the time you get to high alt, the game is either already decided for your team or the enemy team, and you probably only get to 1 guy to fight, and most fights occur below high altitude anyways.

I was great at br 4.3 (had 8-12 kills per game, almost always amongst top 3-5) and then grinded to 5.3 where I had 3-4 kills per game AT MOST. Its always upto modifiying the planes/vehicles. I even concluded my 4.3 Fw190 (fully modified with expert pilot) performed better than Fw190 5.3 that is stock. Which means the moment your lineup is perfect you must leave them and go suffer on higher BR with planes you now need a bit more time to be good. Somewhere upto BR 8.0, when everything slows down to the snail-speed.

D-28 is better and you should run MEC to extend WEP, control engine and oil temps to last longer in game, climb faster, and get more HP from the R2800 through fuel mixture.

They nerfed the plane with the recent patch. It has less power at low altitude now. Also, the high speed control was nerfed many years ago too which I don't understand because it should have nearly the same flight model as the D-28 basically.
P47m is good especially when ya get low on fuel, i wouldn't call it the best energy fighter but it is good, prefer f4u4b I would have turned around and easily killed that 190 plus f4u4b 20mm cannons with 984 rounds shred planes quickly and 2800hp or so is plenty for the slightly smaller airframe compared to the p47m1re that was the biggest single engine fighter of WW2 it really shines above 20k ft about the only real scary plane at that altitude to fight is the ta152h with the long albatross wings......the p47n is a dog with that huge wingspan but it was designed to be a long range escort like the mustang this is why the wings were made so big to hold a lot more fuel but the big wings help at very high altitudes 25k ft and above but rarely go that high anymore. Just noticed ya ran out of wep, i am pretty sure same wep system as corsair water injection and the tank only last about 8-9 mins. what does water injection do? "well water instantly turns to steam expanding 10x or so compared to water when introduced to the hot cylinders increasing compression ratio thus power, also helps cool the cylinders down a little" Yo know the reason p47 is so big is the turbo supercharger is mounted behind the pilot in the real of fuselage with 2 huge tubes running exhaust to spool up the turbo exhausting the burnt fuel out the back of the plane and the big intake tube also running to the front of the plane to the engine taking the turbo boosted air and forcing it into the cylinders increasing cylinder pressure and tricking the engine into thinking it is at low altitude where there is more oxygen for combustion.

it's not the plane, it's you... p-47 is honestly not very good, and for 5.7 BR the armament is frankly awful. Skill matters more than the plane, clearly demonstrated here.
